I found this channel just over a week ago, since then I’ve watched the last 18 months of content 😅, love it. It also made me find out my old RC cars, original 30+ year old Manta Ray and a Plasma Edge. My kids love it, I have a feeling this is gonna get expensive 😬😂.

7075 designation doesn't dictate the strength, only the general grade of aluminium alloy. The temper is what dictates the strength. Usually T6 is the one to go for. Unrelated to this car, but as soon as you weld any aluminium alloy it looses its temper in the heat affected zone. It reverts to annealed O grade which is extremely weak and ductile.

It would be cool if you had a hardness tester to see if those fasteners, hinge pins, gears, etc. are really the quality they claim to be. The testers are not that expensive...you can even get files that will give you a rough idea.

I would recommend the fms rc smasher v2, it is a very good rc. It is really realistic looking, the 4 link suspension, axle diffs in the middle, and has three modes. Crawler, neutral, and monster truck. It can do nose wheelies and in two colors.

Been Loving the Carnage Lately Kev

The main issue has been zd racing's expedited (or lazy) design process; they took their ex07 street basher, (essentially) swap out with longer shocks, towers with 7075 chassis and called it a hard basher monster truck .Imagine arrma using the felony as the starting point for the exb kraton or outcast.

That was a quick one.

All it takes is one good hit and it can go from 4x4 to 2wd. Had a Traxxas slash 4x4 that I managed to kill the rear end but the front gearbox was ok. Put a pair of Integy sled runners on back and paddle wheels up front, actually worked really good in the snow.

This video reminded me of the early 2000's when I bought an hp racing rs4 nitro car, was loaded of fun for 15 minutes maybe then 4+ hours to fix it, minus the constant belt clogs etc.

Under " normal" bashing it's probably not a bad truck.....those where some big jumps, the average user is not doing that!!!!
