Overnight Fishing Session: Big Carp at the Old Lake..my best ever...Like a DREAM!
Ойын-сауық
This was one of last overnight fishing sessions that Graeme made in this 200 year old Estate Lake. At his favourite venue in a stately setting he took a gamble and carried all his tackle right down to a small bay for some quiet fishing. He had already been fishing all day making a solo film at one of the smaller lakes, but decided to hang around and throw in an overnighter on the old lake. It turned into one of the better decisions he has ever made as Carp after Carp graced his net. Plus he netted an absolute lunker in the middle of the night that turned out to be one of the rarer "named" big Carp. It’s a classic hour long film that may be one of the most natural fishing films he has made, and entirely on his own. So get the popcorn out, sort yourself some refreshment and join Graeme on what he thinks is his best big Carp session at this iconic venue. It’s Totally Awesome time again..

Hi Lloyd, pretty much as your good self I last fished around 21, and started again three years ago, approaching 59 now and loving my fishing. T.A. has been a large part of inspiring me to take up a long forgotten passion and given me a huge spark inside, even taught a young lad from work a few things, he helped me hugely in return by becoming a friend.
Learnt so much off you over the years. Thankyou 👍

Glad to hear it Graeme! Your a breathe of fresh air & I’ve enjoyed ur films for a long while now. It’s a privilege! & still plenty more to watch!
I not only enjoy your videos Graham I absolutely love them. What a great night you had there. I've got to be honest, I did laugh when you said you fell down the hole. It was the way you said it. I do hope you are ok though. The reason I and everyone likes your videos is because you put plenty of content in them, loads of fun and you have given me loads of great tips on fishing. I really appreciate what you have done for my fishing. A massive thank you Graham. 😉👍🎣🎣🎣

No problem. I was out on the river yesterday and had a bad fall in the nettles that shook me to the core..I will deffo have to be a bit careful now the years are advancing. I thought I'd broken a hip !!!...Trouble is most of us men think we are indestructible and nothing can defeat us. As the saying goes..the mind is willing but the body isn't...But I shall be pursuing the fish as long as I can...

@@TAFishing I fell over once when I was fishing,I was talking to my mate and I just fell over in slow motion in all the grass and I couldn't get back up for laughing. On a serious note,we have got to be careful by the water and hope we don't hurt ourselves apart from our pride. 🤣😂
Graeme, i think i speak for the 310k subscribers that you have.....this is, by a country mile the best fishing channel on the tube. Thanks for all you do and the effort you put in to it. Long may it continue and looking forward to something extra. take care.

Hi there Australia ,and yes I am envious of the Sun..I just got in from River fishing for a Barbel. Another blank, full moon and fairly cold. I think I only have another couple of "into the dark" trips on the river then I've had enough and just do daytime fishing.

Yes yes and yes
Graeme i think uou are actually too humble. I grew up watching john wilson in 'go fishing' (rip) then i moved onto matt hayes and nick brown. I gave fishing a rest for a bit while i spent my time chasing skirt. Then i came back into it after i settled down and got married. Now can you guess who my favourite legend is? I'll give you a clue.........its not smith! But a mustachiod, funny, straight talking codger who has a problem with gravity after one beer when he's night time carping. The guy who weighed your 29lber was spot on. Thank YOU for the entertaining videos.

A kind comment,(even the codger bit),and I couldn't do more than let one of the syndicate Carp guys to weigh the fish accurately. But lets be honest, its still luck,I wasn't setting out to get a big fish,it was just a stroke of luck.

Fantastic. New to your channel. Just turned 68 and started my own carving channel. It's great fun. Carp fishing well their a problem in Australia. No stately lakes. ❤❤
You still got it Graham ❤👍
😂what a beast, great session

Don't get me wrong, but not all venues were like this one,it was indeed a tranquil place and possibly one of the most iconic fisheries you could get on day ticket. I don't think there is anything like this left in England now. It had everything the angler could want.
