Wow 😍 my mom called me her little Shirley Temple because my hair was really curly...she never did this for my hair but my neighbor said that her mom used to twist her hair up like this. Wow I’ve never seen this method before. I would’ve thought the cloth would soak in the moisture. You also inspired me to buy a chebe butter cream! I may try this on my short hair but it may be too short to tie up and so on, so I’ll use my fingers for the short parts

Your hair is naturally curly, and soft. You really do not have to do anything but wash and condition. I need to see some real 4 c hair. But its beautiful!

No, water usually evaporates, even in regular natural hairstyles, so the cotton doesn't hold on to the water 😌

Same question i have, we are always told to avoid cotton because it “drys out your hair”.. so could this be done with satin strips? Or would it be too difficult to work with a slicker material? 🤔
