One of my favorite parts of GA for sure. Been going there for fishing, camping, climbing, canoeing since the 70’s. Great place. Sad to see that touristy stuff though. The food looked really good! You should share details about it, especially that lunch. I agree with your philosophy. It is all about the JOURNEY, not just the DESTINATION. I like to saver every little thing, not just claim a trophy for most miles travelled.🤠

Around 09:30 you make the point about stopping to take in the scenery. It’s such an important thing to say. I’m an adventure rider and do all these roads, but I always try to see as much as I can and travel far, not to mention it’s really uncomfortable walking any distance in adventure/off-road gear, and I know I miss out on a lot by not stopping more. Stopping more seems easier in 4 wheels than it does on 2. I’d love to stop more and do more video & photos. I have an obsession with making progress, but never regret taking the time to stop. I think that’s one of the best advantages to overlanding vs. adventure riding (I’m just using generic terms so hopefully we all understand the same).

Great video as usual. The title caught my eye, we were down that way this past Labor Day Weekend (2022). We went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and did a portion of this waterfall scenic loop. The water crossing going to the bigger waterfall in this video looked familiar and then when you got to the spot it looked very familiar, we were at that same waterfall. It was this stretch of gravel road that peaked my interest into overlanding. When we got back home to Kentucky I actually contacted you on IG about some easy trails in Eastern KY to take my F-150. We haven't made it out there yet, but we will. Thanks for the great content.

It depends a lot on your vehicle and tires. On our 37's that have a thick side wall, on these types of roads we will drop to 20-22 psi. On tires with a lower load range and thinner sidewall like on Alan's red jeep, I would recommend around 25psi. Hope this helps. Thanks for the great compliment!

Something I have considered before. If there is a tree down over the trail, is it legal to chainsaw it and get it off the trail? Im sure some of it has to do with where you are, but in general what do you do?
