OVERLANDING in NORWAY in a RANGE ROVER CLASSIC |part 1| Trollheimen
As we are setting up camp in Trollheimen Lars Jakob joins us and we are bound for an epic trip through the Norwegian mountains.
Part one shows the build up before the actual trip starts. We are joining the Norwegian Land Rover Club on a two day trips from Sunndalsøra to Eikesdalen and in this part you will see how we got to Sunndalsøra.

The Land Rover Drive team head out again on a Overland trip. This time I join Erik in his Range Rover Classic as we head out to discovery the beauty of Norway. This time we visit Trollheimen, Sunndalsøra, Eikesdalen and Oppdal. Overlanding in Norway is something that we love and the views you get while driving on and off-road is just epic.

The RRC is a joy to look at and to drive. I like both the 2-door and the 4-door and hopefully there will be one on my driveway in the near future. 😊
You guys do more for your country's image than the actual tourism bureau! Norway is god damn STUNNING! Can't wait for part two!!!

Thank you so much! Try to show it all but hard to capture the grand scale of the Norwegian backcountry. But with the drone now in hand the future videos will be taken to the next level. :) Too bad I didn't have it on this trip. 😀

The cinematography on your videos is top notch, probably explains why I can't stop watching. Watched your latest ones and just slowly working through the older ones whilst I await your next upload.

Just discovered your channel. I have a 1982 Range Rover V8 (with airconditioning...) and will be restoring it. It will not need much as it has less than 100.000 km on it. Was checking what I'd need to change as I will take it into Bosnia and probably meet some rough roads. Looks like nothing needs changing, good enough...
Before I kick the bucket, I have to get to Norway. It looks like a fabulous country.

Hehe, It has kind of become the standard rutine. Me on the camera running around and Erik making the food. 😀 And Erik is the best guy too, makes it all with a smile. 😀 That's why I joke around with having my own chef. I wish. 😀

Great video and an impressive landscape, i think i have to spend some of my next holidays in the north of Europe :-) It is always nice to see a few old Rovers on the Road and take them offroad together with new generations :-D

Thanks Daniel! 😀 Really fun heading out with friends and finding new and beautiful places to camp. And doing this trip in old Land Rovers is such a bonus. Such fun roads to drive, need to do the trip in one of mine next time.

Yeah, for sure! It was something special driving on these old roads during this trip in this classic. It was like going back in time and the classic had come back to where it belongs. 😀

Hi Simon. I hope you had a good Christmas and I wish you good off-roading for 2020. Another nice video showing off Norway's scenery. Too bad Erik is moving so far away, 14 hours? Will you live at opposite ends of Norway? May not see the Classic as often. I am a little surprised that Norway, one of the richest countries in Europe due to oil, would have toll roads. You need to speak to your government😁 Cheers from sunny La Paz, Mexico.

Hey Gordon and thank you! Wish you the best and a happy new year. Not long now. Erik moving is a bummer but hopefully it will only be for a while. But there will be trips and with the classic too. We are talking about on trip during the spring, just don't know how we should start it... 😀 Toll roads around every major city and on more and more tracks around the country. But toll roads is not the worst part, we have on of the highest taxes on fuel, which is just mind boggling. 😀 But I won't complain, I love living and overlanding in Norway. Hope you are enjoying the sun, cold and snowy here at the moment. Cheers, Simon.

Hei Peter og God Jul til deg og dine og! 😀 🎅 I really do feel blessed that I can go out and finding places like this. I'm always waiting for that next trip. Nothing better leaving work on a Friday in you rig, all packed and ready to go. There is a lot to see here just keep on driving. Never been to Eidfjord but maybe this summer as I'm gussing we are doing a west coast trip. 😀 I would love to overlandin in Denmark at some point, see people driving on beaches down there.

Hey Max, It's well worth the trip. 😀 We try to stay off the main roads and follow the side roads and see where they leads us. If you check out the other overland series on the channel you can see how we sometimes win and sometimes hit a dead end. 😀 Thanks for watching and I hope you get a great trips next year.
