OVERLANDING in NORWAY Eikesdalen in a RANGE ROVER CLASSIC |part 3| The Descent.
In part three you will see us driving down from the mountain pass into Eikesdalen. We are now on our final leg of this trip and the scariest part of the road. Narrow, steep and we get to test our brakes to the it's limits. Ending up in Eikesdalen where we set up camp and join the guys for some food and great time.

The Land Rover Drive team head out again on a Overland trip. This time I join Erik in his Range Rover Classic as we head out to discovery the beauty of Norway. This time we visit Trollheimen, Sunndalsøra, Eikesdalen and Oppdal. Overlanding in Norway is something that we love and the views you get while driving on and off-road is just epic.

You certainly were lucky with the weather on the main days. The weather on the journey back was not as nice... So glad you are making the effort to do these videos in English!!!

Yeah we were really lucky. Have heard from a bunch that went and had it cloudy as we woke up to on Sunday. I do my best with the English and will stribe to make them even better. 😀 So any tip or feedback are more than welcome. 😊

@@LandRoverDrive I am creating a website for the guy who is renovating my Range Rover Classic. It's not finished, but I uploaded tons of cool pictures on there. There is also a vidéo of him renovating an old Land Rover. Epic scenery! There are many more mountainroads to explore in the area. Just remember to bring money as they are toll-roads. :)

Amazing drive indeed. 😀 Will be going back into the area so will be asking about good options to drive. 😀 Don't mind the toll roads as long as the money goes to keeping the roads open. So much fun going on these mountain roads in the old rovers . Nothing better. 😀

Excellent video, very well filmed especially if you like 2 door Range Rovers 👍 As you say, cameras always lessen the effect of descents/ascents. Great video.

Hey Simon and Erik. I love your videos. I‘m from Switzerland and I drive a RRC similar to Erik‘s. Whenever I see Erik putting up his cooking table on the side of his Rangie I get really curious. What kind of setup is this? Is it just a board with straps and hooks or how does it work exactly? Maybe Erik could tell us. Keep it up! Greetings from Switzerland. - Olivier

Hi Olivier! Glad to hear that you find intrest in the Range Rover! :) The table is just a board with straps, yes - keep it simple but practical is the idea! It was made to hang from the roof rack, but after installing the awning it now hangs from the roof gutter. We will go through the layout of the Range Rover in future video at some point I think. :)

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. 😀 We have been talking about making beds inside both the RRC and the Defender but so far we have been using the tent or Ørjan's Lavo. But now we are all considering going for a roof top tent in the future, when we can afford one. 😀👍 If you have any more question just let me know, and thanks for watching. Best, Simon
