I have a $400 budget 40 liter dual zone 12 volt refrigerator/freezer. Obviously, it is less than a Yeti for the same size and so much better.

Boxed milk never occurred to me as an option and that's a great idea! Thanks.

The 6 pack of 12oz ones is the best option, because then your hardly taking up any space at all in the fridge.

Marco is the man! Yeah, now that I have been there I have a completely different outlook on how I would pack and prepare for a trip down there. The next time we go we will be far more prepared and I will plan around buying more local foods down there. Definitely the way to go!

We get the Bones Coffee too! I've been trying different coffee making solutions. Do you have a go to best coffee solution?

Bones brethren! I’m all about cold brew! Even if you like hot coffee, you can just heat it back up but I prefer it cold. I always have it in the fridge. And when it comes to Bones, the flavor comes out WAY more with cold brew. It’s actually quite astonishing of the difference. Some flavors are too much flavor when made this way! I use a 32 ounce Rumble Jar. Best Cold brew kit I have found yet: amzn.to/49mA74x Pour lid: amzn.to/49o8JTY I also own this Nalgene compatible one. It’s nice that it makes the kit drop proof, but I like the mason jar better still. : amzn.to/49lw7Bn

It’s caught on here in the last 5-7 years. Not everyone spends the money on them though, because ice is so easily acquired pretty much anywhere here.

Par cooked rice I treat like a back packing meal. Pour a little water in the plastic bag & close. They are an amazing short cut. 🥾⛰️🇨🇦❤️
