Independence Overland

Independence Overland

Trucks, gear, and travel. My free time is spent outside, exploring and trying out new gear. Hunting, fishing, and exploring new territory. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado means I can always find new trails and places to explore. Most of the time we are in a 4x4, but I also explore on foot and live out a backpack for 1-2 weeks a year.

New vehicle builds coming soon!

Your campsite the first night was about a half mile from a gorgeous waterfall. It's one of my favorite campsites in Arkansas. Forked mountain has amazing wilderness all around it! Tons of opportunity for hiking, mountain climbing, waterfall chasing, ect! I agree about the blues and greens looking fake! I have tons of photos from my Arkansas adventures and the turquoise water is created by the limestone filtered waterways and the greens are so vibrant, it never looks real even in person! Arkansas is such an underrated state, I love to see people giving it a chance. Falling water falls is so great to visit in early spring or fall, during the summer it is UNBELIEVABLY crowded. There are about 10 waterfalls within a 5 mile radius of there. Y'all went at the perfect time of year to avoid ticks! That water crossing was neat!

My travel content takes a lot of time, like 40 hours a video average I would guess. I also work 50 hours a week at a day job. When the warm season rolls around, I prioritize being outside vs sitting at my computer. So my videos from the season start to release into fall/winter

Love the videos, however. Was never a fan of everyone Bouncing threw the Mud Holes.. WHY? Because they Get WORSE AND WORSE when So many people do this, And Farther into the Video You talk of the UTES? Ok, I agree Take Care of The Lands. That also being Said, The HOLES Only Get Bigger and Bigger, and makes the water when it RAINS, Flow into those Said Holes, Right? Which can make its own WAY FROM Flowing, which Erodes Even father and deeper? A Forest Ranger Explained this to me one day, and SHE IS SO RIGHT! SO if can AVOID them Best to do so. Because There IS NO ROAD Crew that will come and Fix them "POT HOLES!" Lol Love the Content, DAMN I must GO there! I live here in COLORADO and I see so many places with Trash ALL OVER, Old Stage Road, and Rampart Range Area. I SUBBED!

Now , gotta figure out how to dump my Pro and buy a second Jeep, maybe even a Gladiator. Saw a YT Vid the other day, 24 TACO Pro 81K not including tax. The delaership added 15K as a markup. Cool Springs Tn dealer That TH will be 80-90k

I cancelled my order from my experience with their customer service. I was an early reservation and when my spot suddenly moved towards the back after they "upgraded their queue system" their customer service refused to look into it or do anything about it. Oh and of course they were rude as hell lol. Wild coming from the G wagen on new defender buying experience where the sales reps call me to wish me a happy birthday and such.

Hmmm I have been, as the more recent marketing term is called, 'Overlanding' in areas, including Moab for now over 40 years. Boy am I aging myself. You are obviously, in terms of history in this area, new to this activity. You presentation is here is way .. way over blown in comparison the trails and routes that are still abundant in the Moab area. Having several friends that actually live in Moab who have or still are river and canyon guides, they, like me, are thankful that BLM has finally put there foot down by closing 'some routes' because of awful trashing and disregard of common rules of 'staying on the trails'. Why don't you do down and spend some time with people who live there. Volunteer to do trash clean up with them of these trails. Actually learn the long term consequences of the damage that has been down to these closed trails. When over use and abuse becomes the norm ... closing off trails becomes that only solution.

How many MPG’s does that Fj get. You’re a hypocrite and a fool if you think the rate of extinctions, especially in North America, has increased over the last 50 years. Pretending to be some egalitarian modern day “adventurer” doesn’t diminish that fact. If I’ve violated your guidelines delete it. I don’t care I just hope KZread allows you to see it for yourself own benefit. I’ll not be subscribing or liking or watching further.

Overlanding is for people who know how cars work, but don't know how the woods work. Your not overlanding....you're just car camping. Buy an airstream and be done with it.
