Maintaining a positive mindset during hard times too for sure is important. A true Martyr of Christ, unlike people like Doc Holliday during history during his final Okay Corall showdown - were never relying on a masochistic passive agressive behavior mindset while putting themselves in harms way on purpose. Commiting suicide by participating in shoot outs often as you can is called being masochistic too. Some saints have had active Tuberculosis too without not being masochistic and passive agressive. Saints like Theresa of Avila who didn't wait for some man to 'save' her by carrying her to an assylum for people with Tuberculosis. Instead she chose to be using her pen often.
