A lot of Americans don't either; it just depends. Case in point, my husband and I live in Texas, and went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon. We rode on the monorail quite a bit, and even though I'm pretty gregarious, the only people who would engage with me beyond just a formal greeting were A) a man who also was from Texas, and B) a couple from Toronto, Canada.

@@dreads9536 Wow way to use your negative views to interprete something in a completely outlandish way... "Hatred of his travel companions", what the actual... @@dreads9536 I already said that many of the big UK names aren't 'world famous' etc. But I for one do not mind that at all, I don't watch these for how popular a celeb is but for the banter and Richard's comedy. You also said that one could see that Richard 'hates his travel companions' (and implied that it was because they weren't as famous) when that is very much your personal opinion for which I see no proof. In fact, Richard has some of the greatest chemistry with many 'only UK famous' people like Frank Skinner, Bob Mortimer, David Baddiel, Robert Webb, Aisling Bea, Alice Levine, Mel Gedroyc, Greg Davies, Noel Fielding, Morgana Richardson, the list goes on and on... None of them are a 'Paul Rudd' or 'Jon Ham' but who gives a crap? They just need to be great on the show, which all of them were in my humble opinion. And you could clearly tell how much fun Richard had with so many of them!
