I've been in a situation where my residence ran out in another country. It's someone else's country. So when they tell you to f*** off, it's time to leave graciously and respectfully. And, yes it was a big upheaval in my life at the time emotionally and physically, but I did it. At some point these economic migrants are going to have to find a place to get on with their lives. Doctors and Engineers don't go to western countries illegally. They write professional exams, pass them, get good jobs because they have actual valuable skills, and get into the country legally. Wonder if that lady in wheel chair has trouble seeing a doctor or dentist. Is she living in the real world? My 84 old father had to pay nearly 5k to get a operation in a uk national insurance sytem hospital, by a NHS doctor, doing private jobs. It got his waiting time to op around 3 months, but it would have been 18 months + to wait on NHS, he had colostomy bag on poor old fella, pure agony for him 😢

There was a war a few years ago and people don't trust that they will be treated fairly there. Also the main reason asylum seekers come to the UK is because they speak English or have friends or family here. Going to Rwanda is bad for both of those.

I went to Rwanda in August and was pleasantly surprised. It’s an energetic up and coming country - they could do a LOT worse.

I dare any reporter at one of these ‘solidarity’ gatherings to ask the protesters how many refugees they would be taking into their homes (on camera) I want to see the response. Then watch them disperse. Lol

The funny thing about this… is they use an Asian face for this law in an effort to justify it but really it’s France that’s laughing.

The people protesting should pay more attention to what is happening in Sweden. Unchecked immigration does not end well. The idea of asylum isn't that you pick and choose which country you want to go to, you are supoosed to take refuge in the first safe country you enter, these people shouldn't even be in the UK in the first place.

In fairness, you're correct. There was a time when britiain deported its own people to colonise other countries for trivial crimes. It makes you think that we aren't too far away from that ourselves. I do agree with the fact that safe asylum should be the first safest country you enter, of course thats never realistically going to happen. I don't see this plan working though, seems like swiss cheese with so many holes and a gross waste of money.
