How is UK’s Rwanda asylum plan impacting Ireland?
The war of words has intensified between the UK and Irish governments over the possible effects of the Rwanda policy.
(Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
Ireland's deputy prime minister said people are crossing the border from Northern Ireland as they are afraid of being sent to Rwanda.
The Irish government is preparing emergency legislation that will allow people to be sent back to the UK.
But Rishi Sunak said he was “not interested” in any sort of returns deal if the European Union did not allow the UK to send back asylum seekers who had arrived from France.

As an old person trying to manage on a basic UK pension , I know only too well what it feels like to feel your life has been a complete waste of time . Those who run systems within governments sit on fat bottoms with security in well paid jobs finding ways to NOT help people . These people in their safe lives cost the British tax payer’s billions a year and solve nothing !
What do you expect? Don't blame the UK. The EU invited everyone into the European Union. Remember, Everyone is Welcome to EU Countries. The European Union is Responsible For this migration issue.

Good Rwanda is your only hope British isles don't want the full stop.
As far as Ireland is concerned, this has nothing to do with Rwanda, and everything to do with fallout and consequences arising out of Brexit. If Ireland has refused X amount of asylum applications, but only actively deported Y number of refugees, the question becomes why deportations are not matching, or even proportionately representing the number of refusals?
