How is UK’s Rwanda asylum plan impacting Ireland?

The war of words has intensified between the UK and Irish governments over the possible effects of the Rwanda policy.
(Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
Ireland's deputy prime minister said people are crossing the border from Northern Ireland as they are afraid of being sent to Rwanda.
The Irish government is preparing emergency legislation that will allow people to be sent back to the UK.
But Rishi Sunak said he was “not interested” in any sort of returns deal if the European Union did not allow the UK to send back asylum seekers who had arrived from France.

It would be the best for uk. I mean, at the end of the day these people are illegally going to a country, in this case uk and they "escape" from wars, they need a safe country and rwanda is, I see no problem in sending them to a safe country. Get a job, start a new life, no matter where, uk and rwanda are not their birth countries anyways.

The hard working indigenous peoples of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland don't want the detritus of the world over here and we are never asked our opinion on it. You never mentioned the fact that the Irish Immigration minister sent out invitations to the developing world for migrants to come here. Consequently, they came, using the UK as a land bridge. You KNOW that and as it doesn't suit your narrative you don't mention it, but instead school a migrant to say it was Rwanda that drove him to Ireland.
