Is the water method your preferred way to clean them as well?

Hi Jeremy! no I spray them out with Lectra electronics cleaner. As I mentioned in my 12T video if the commutator is dirty use a dab of brasso and hand crank the motor until the grinding smoothes out. Then clean with electronics cleaner and reoil the bushings.

@OvalEdgeRC I'll be going to watch that video, ty! I did see you mention the electronics cleaner in your tool video after I asked this, lol. I'm jumping back into the hobby, trying to treat my traxxas bigfoot with the love it deserves. Thanks for the great videos!
