I am so proud of you Beau Bridges! Your father Lloyd Bridges in the TV series, "Sea Hunt" was great, your brother is great and you are great! I was so fortunate to have acted on the same stage as you in Hawaii, in the opening play, Lysistrata, by Aristophanes, the very first perfornmance in the brand new JFK theatre, the first work of the now famous architect, I. M. PEI.

Eugene Gauggel: Congrats to you, but when it comes to Ieoh Ming Pei (1917-2019), I quote Wikipedia: "Pei's first major recognition came with the Mesa Laboratory at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado (designed in 1961, and completed in 1967). His new stature led to his selection as chief architect for the John F. Kennedy Library in Massachusetts. He went on to design Dallas City Hall and the East Building of the National Gallery of Art." So you're only partly right, which is better than not, I guess...;-).

Next Starman with his son Jeff caught my attention. However, I've come to feel over the years, Beau has become the more versatile more captivating actor, than his brother. He becomes the role in which he plays we can more identify with, I feel. That likable human side that keeps you coming back is always the true sign of a great actor.

The judges THEMSELVES should be the ones to rectify this, or any other terrible ruling that prevents justice from being done! In the end we ALL have to stand before THE judge! Absurd... and that was then... IF one were to to take a look (in such a serious film) today... Judges and lawyers fell asleep and have sleepwalked through the years ever since... letting criminals and traiters bent on destroying not just the justice system but justice itself join their ranks and be treated with respect. The solution truly is the people, seeing the truth and stepping, one way or another, outside the box.

Hmm...according to IMDb, this TV movie was 2 hrs long (thx, btw). Is this a shortened version? By whom, when and why? Also, director Walter Grauman (whose father's brother, Sid Grauman, built Grauman's Chinese Theater and Grauman's Egyptian Theater in H'wood), known for his chivalry and gentle manners (and the direction of 53 episodes of 'Murder, She Wrote'...), had to mediate between Robert Preston (whose last movie this was - he died in 1987) and producer Irwin Allen (best known for producing and directing various, disastrous disaster movies in the 70's...), whose last production this was due to declining health (he died in 1991, aged 75). It was also Irwin's wife Sheila Allen's (1929-2013) last movie, and their friend Elizabeth Rogers' (1934-2004) last movie before they all retired...in fact, the 64-year-old Walter Grauman outlived them all and lived to be 93 (1922-2015)...and here's one of all ridiculous stories (I don't belive a word...I mean, Robert Preston was a) an actor and b) had a great sense of humour) surrounding 'Outrage!'; "Prior to filming, one late Friday afternoon, Robert Preston was ushered into Irwin Allen's office for a casual meeting and discussion. While Irwin was talking, Preston dozed off into a nap. Irwin stood at his desk, walked out of the office to check with his secretary and with his Art Director. Returning to his desk, he sat waiting. Preston awakened, and Irwin continued his conversation. Again, Preston dosed off asleep. After about five minutes, Preston revived and again the conversation resumed. After the meeting, Irwin Allen had his Production Manger take Preston over to the St. John's Hospital for a complete medical checkup. Irwin didn't want Robert Preston bailing out on him in the middle of the film shoot." - Wasn't it "Prior to filming..."?!? Nuff said! /J, Sweden

There are some serious inconsistencies in this film. The father of the murdered woman claims that he does not care if he goes to prison, but the climax of the film is based on whether he is found innocent or guilty and goes to prison. He claims to only want to make the injustice of the case known, yet he then refuses to consider the publication of a book that would have done just that.

Foll! Marcus Garvey looked up to and admired Ethiopian emperor and dictator Ras Tafari Makonnen, known under his title Haile Selassie. I remember some b/w news photos from 1973 when he let his servant bring in a silver platter full of the finest beef which he served to his Dobermans in his giant palace, at the same time as his people were starving and dying by the thousands (again...).
