It's crazy how relevant these topics STILL are today. As much as things change they remain the same. Sidney as always is dignified and poise while Eartha looks like a doll. She was luminous and elegant in that opening scene in her gown

At 11:20 "That's the African word for 'Hawk'". As if there was only one language spoken in Africa. 😄 Juano Hernandez is a much better actor than what can be seen in this movie. Maybe it's because he played the role of a preacher. At 1:07, no bullet wound in the front. That makes sense to me. 🙄 At 1:10:40 "We have killed him." He was shot in the back by the other team. 1:20, the brother testifying obviously didn't have any legal counsel. When asked what were you doing there he should have responded, "peaceful demonstration". Just like the January 6 insurrectionists. 😉 This movie CRIES OUT to riffed. The movie had too much of a religious theme for me. It reminded me of the crap I hear on Christian radio. "Trust in God and do what the rich guys want us to do. They give us jobs." And comparing white missionaries in China in the 1940's to white imperialism in some unknown African nation in the 1950's was absurd. Written and produced by Lloyd Young. What a waste of acting talent.
