This shows how much power the 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance air conditioning draws. The Teslogic display can monitor where all of the power from the battery is going in real-time.
This video starts with A/C off and the car is pulling .4 KW. I turn the A/C on and it ramps up to as high as 4.9 KW. At 4.9 KW you would be using 82 Wh/mi at 60 mph. That is at full blast for the A/C though. You wouldn’t typically run it at full blast for extended periods of time.
The car was plugged in and it automatically started charging when I turned the A/C on full blast.
