They said they have now been making music in 20 years as Outlandish and it was time to move on and make some for them selfs

7 years ago when I was down and under with nowhere to turn to, I turned to music to calm me down. I stumble over Outlandish. Their music helps in many different ways. I never got around thanking them. Thank you. . . My God shower you guys and yr families with blessings.

Proud to hear this song in another laguage, so that people in other countries can understand what Gieco was trying to transmit by writing this song. Simply amazing. Nice version of the song by the way. Original version: "Solo le pido a Dios", by Leon Gieco.

Es hermoso ver tantas versiones de la canción de León Gieco en todo el mundo. En el fondo ninguna persona quiere la guerra, todos tenemos una plegaria por lo mismo sin importar la raza nación o religión.

I know it's a bit of a late reply but it's never late to point out this song IS in fact a world-wide hit. Outlandish's version is a (wonderfully made) cover from the 1978's original song written and released in Spanish by Argentine rock singer "León Gieco" and later translated into many languages and sung by many different well known singers.

@@manuelscotta725 jaja que?? De donde sacaste eso? El tema lo compuso y escribio el mismo Gieco en el 78. Lo unico que tiene que ver Charly es que lo convencio de que lo incluya en el LP. Pero el autor es 100% Gieco.

I'm just not sure anymore?, my family lead the American Revolutionary War 1776, we had two General's in my family (George Rodgers Clark and John Clark who also signed the Declaration Independence), do you get my drift? We're all on this Planet together, am I right? or am I wrong? I found out about Outlandish when I visited a beautiful lady Rummyana in Sofia, Bulgaria she took me around your countryside, Greece, Italy, Spain, and in Turkey (where I was invited to a Mosque which was very special to me, this was downtown Istanbul and if I remember right it was built in 765 AD , We are all truly just life forms in this world filled that seems to be filled with deceitfulness and hate, and one that should be filled with LOVE!! DO U AGREE?? Or should we all just think that the man or woman next to us is nothing but a worthless piece of flesh? I'm Hoping for the best out of all of us, the one's that we call the human race, but I'm expecting whatever comes my way, It's just another day in paradise lol. Yes "THE WORLD IS OUTLANDISH!!!

No problem bro... I tell you... This song is not a religious song, is symply an argentinian song wrotte and performed by León Gieco. He represented all a '70, '80 generation people. His songs are popular music, with a social sence, human and peace. He is a traveller, a moving artist. He was born in a little town in the middle of Argentina and was, is and will be recognized in all South America.

old player I know leon geico is the author BUT Sosa made it big. SOSA makes me have chills. her voice and interpretation feels like no other. Maybe is her activism, maybe indigenous roots, idk but it feels way better than Leon. It feels right.
