LYRICS!!! Simona, you're getting older Your journey's been etched on your skin Simona, wish I had known that What seemed so strong has been and gone I would call you up at a Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" Simona, wish I was sober So I could see clearly now the rain has gone Simona, I guess it's over My memory plays our tune, the same old song I would call you every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" I would call you up every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" I would call you up every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973

Che verità !!!! Ero molto più giovane !
As the son of a single mother, I grew up in the '70s, navigating life as a latchkey kid. My mother, a timeless beauty, and I shared precious moments together, some spent watching classics like the Love Boat and Fantasy Island, while on other nights, she would dazzle at the disco with her friends. Witnessing her dressing up for those nights filled me with excitement and admiration; she exuded a captivating aura that made her a joy to be around. Being her son was an absolute honor. Years passed, and we ended up living in different cities until 2006. Then, that life-altering call came - she had been diagnosed with cancer. All she desired was to spend her final months with me, and without hesitation, I made my way to her side. One evening, as she lay in her bed, and I sat in the family room, James Blunt performed this soulful song on SNL. It struck a chord deep within me, and immediately after, I downloaded the song. I took it to her bedside, and together, we listened. Tears welled up as we hugged, feeling the profound connection between the lyrics and our own journey. We knew that time was slipping away. One month later, she left this world, leaving an indelible void in my heart. Even now, whenever that song finds its way to my ears, the floodgates of emotions open, and I find myself crying, reminiscing about the incredible woman who was my mother.

I've fallen in love with so many of James Blunt's songs. I especially love Good Bye my Lover, as I recently lost my husband of 35 years. Curtis had a massive heart attack and dropped dead at my feet just last month on Aug 26th. I tried my best to revive him until the Paramedics arrived, they never got a heart beat. I cant get those images of him out of my head and it's eating me up from the inside. I miss him so bad,. I am so lost without him. My heart aches.

Simona You're getting older Your journey's been Etched on your skin Simona Wish I had known that What seemed so strong Has been and gone [Chorus:] I would call you up every Saturday night And we both stayed out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by I will always be In a club with you In 1973 Singing "Here we go again" Simona Wish I was sober So I could see clearly now The rain has gone Simona I guess it's over My memory plays our tune The same old song [Chorus x3] And though time goes by I will always be In a club with you In 1973

Hes amazing isnt he?? This is what we call talent. Nobody was doing it like him in 2007. This is something different. This song, as well as the album, is a great depiction of how the world has changed and the present day in which love and hate is a big factor.
Its 2023 and im still here. Im nearly 21 and i used to be obsessed with his songs when i was 14-16. This was ome of my favourites! Pure nostalgia
From 1973 to 2020 Here we come Give like to have a blessed 2020.

How many know the quote "Here We Go Again"? What does James Blunt put in his song? The quote of "HERE WE GO AGAIN" is simply MAGNIFICENT (sublime level R&B song), a tribute to one of the most famous and talented bands of the 70s: The Isley Brother (just from 1973) referred to by James Blunt. Anyone who is above all American and was 20 in the 70s (I'm Italian but I know the R&B groups of those years well, especially those offered by Motown Records) knows what I'm talking about. I invite today's young people to listen to the song by The Isley Brother which, I repeat, refers to James Blunt.
Reminds me of the Good old days, of the childhood! Days you can never get back! So sad

have always loved this song!!! I'm 65 (born in 1958) so I always think of when I was 15 in the 70's. Great fun decade with more great music than any other decade (of course I'm biased we all are -- it's a great thing) -- the music is what matters whether it's the 30s or 50s or 70s or 80s or 90s -- it's the MUSIC + the memories that drive it all. The '70s had one big Billboard chart for all music genres which was great as you'd hear Zep, Heart, Barry Manilow, Abba, Stevie W, Bee Gees, Elton John, Ac/DC, Brothers Johnson, The King, Neil Diamond, Supertramp, The Cars, The Spinners, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Peaches and Herb and many many more).
Who's listening in 2024 ??
After Decades i remembered this song today. Memories bringing back to me.

So true, life goes by so quickly and is so short, let’s enjoy it!!!
I lived through 1973 and it was a good memory. If a song can capture the feeling of that time then, this song captures that sentiment pretty well.
One of the best songs ever made❤1973
Lyrics: Simona, you're getting older Your journey's been etched on your skin Simona, wish I had known that What seemed so strong has been and gone I would call you up at a Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" Simona, wish I was sober So I could see clearly now the rain has gone Simona, I guess it's over My memory plays our tune, the same old song I would call you every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" I would call you up every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" I would call you up every Saturday night And we'd both stay out 'til the morning light And we sang, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973 Singing, "Here we go again" And though time goes by, I will always be In a club with you in 1973

@@thelegendkillersshittyduff1335 thanks for spreading the truth, marriage is just a scam for gold digger, and love is an illusion for women to suck your money off. I advocate people to get married, divorced, and get custody so that you won't be alone yet seems like the nice guy comparing to your spouse. That will save you 20 years of nagging and complains. And lies you constantly threw on "you don't look fat".
I love this song 😢
Absolutely Outstanding thank you.

It is an oustanding song, hes very talented.
This song encapsulates the feeling of nostalgia and the appreciation of bright and beautiful days so well it's hard to describe. It makes you feel like you were there and you don't even know where there was necessarily. It's like just by the way it sounds and just by the repetition and energy of it it makes you feel this heartache. It's not even like where you think of your own memories it's more universal.
