I buy a lot of men's clothes: t-shirts button-ups, and tennis shoes since I am 6' tall and Plus size. And I find men's clothes more interesting. With the color choices and accessories I can wear them without looking masculine.

For me, band tees or cool graphic tees are always too baggy and have a masculine fit so I sometimes cut them

I dress in a mall goth style and get my stuff from regular stores: Macy’s, Kohl’s, Hot Topic, Jcpenny’s. Journeys for combat boots. Some of my graphic tees are from the men’s section.

I love this channel. And its so cool that you listen to metal like Metallica, Slayer, Slipknot, etc and don't hate on metalcore. Love your videos and stay metal \m/

I really like this guy he doesn't tell you to just buy expensive clothes instead he tells u it's okay to buy secondhand stuff and I appreciate that cuz not everyone can afford of stuff and alternative subcultures are about diy anyways it really shows that he knows what he's talking about : )

Glad you pointed out that Megadeth members wore basketball sneakers because I’m in that tiny minority of the alt scenes that are both metal heads and sneaker heads. People look at me like I’m weird that I don’t exclusively wear Converse, Vans, Doc Martens, Or T.U.K. Love me some Jordans or Yeezys lmao. 😂

For my outfit I have mostly denim, my metallica wristband along with my slayer wristband with a secret compartment, a sick metal shirt, and my battle jacket...I also have my Metallica shoes, and I also have my camo cargo pants, with my POSTAL Dude alien head shirt, and sunglasses along with a jacket and metallica shoes (at the moment).

Most thrashers wear basketball shoes even jhoffilms does (I used to be true black metal) I’d recommend Solovair they are like doc martens but are made in the same factory where doc martens and they are far better quality the doc martens.

I would love to hear more tips for alternative clothing! I've already decided to push myself to dress a little more 'extreme' but I still get insecure about if I look like a dummy or not, so I would definitely love to see what other tricks you got up your sleeve

I have two pair of Tripp pants & I have some missing since thursday jeans in progress almost done love this video😌

I were my Band shirts pants when it's cold and shorts when its hot but what i want to start doing is Make a battle jacket and were any metal and rock shirt's of any rock or metal genre and get those leather gloves what 80s teenage metal heads would wear and any type of shoes like Vans Converse all Stars or Nike Adidas under armor shoes and i need to start wearing jeans i only wear them at party's

I'm just a casual goth. I mostly wear all black, and occasionally spicy it up with some blue or red. Imma try to get some purple stuff, more band tees and make some patches!

Love the video dude!! great content. the way i dress is just converse(recently got a new pair thats 1/3 neon pink, 1/3 neon yellow, and 1/3 pastel purple), a pair of either ripped or regular jeans(black or camo), a band shirt(mostly metalcore), my jacket with patches(get called out for it sometimes cus i have a asking alexandria back patch, btw i think i saw on one of your jackets in a earlier vid a black suicide silence patch in neon green thread, i have the same one on my jacket!) and i wear 2 necklaces(one of which is a skull design) and some rings(2 of which are skull designed). i hope this isnt too much to read, sorry if it is.

Oh did not know but I usually get mine from ukstuds or any local punk shops.

I get my stuff from thrift stores Burlington, Ross, Goodwill, and sometimes Amazon (especially spikes and pyramid studs), depop, mercari, and eBay. Band tees I used to get at hot topic but often times they don’t got my favorite bands so usually online. I then modify the clothing to my liking. I have a similar style to this guy but leaning more punk. Usually with some darker colors and tighter shirts because I’m lean and muscular. Although I wear leather jackets a lot that are modified with spikes and studs. Also I’m definitely a combat boot guy.

Amazon is also pretty good for belts, I was able to get a pretty sick super long double grommet belt that I often wrap around myself twice, sometimes I also just tie a basic hitch knot and have the excess dangle by the side of my leg, also bit of advice for dudes never be afraid to cross the aisle I got a pretty sick pair of faux leather pants that are actually women's pants, but unless you jam your hand in my pockets you'll never know

This is great and gives me new ideas i can use

tips from a second-generation punk/mall goth/scemo kid: 1.) only were band shirts from bands you listen to you will be asked what your favorite song from them is and if you don't have an answer welp rip 2.) DIY everything humanly possible punks mostly don't like to support big corporations so by local or DIY 3.) find your thing and go with it you apart of the LGBTQIA+ community? great go with it Jewish? there's a whole subculture for you or just find a title that you like (emo, punk, goth, scene etc.) or don't and go with it 4.) the last tip is mix and match you like emo and scene your scemo now. combined it all to find your alt fasion. happy crafting and rock on!

Well for the way I dress I get my inspiration from Phillip Anselmo how he used to dress from in the late 90's to the late 2000's I usually try to somewhat replicate his look from that time

I like the Iron Maiden t-shirt. Really reminds me of synthwave music/outrun aesthetic, maybe because of neon colors. As a metalhead I'm planning to change my style to more black metal/gothic visual kei style. I've been a fan of these two for a long time so why not embracing the style. Eventually I'll do a more deathcore/death metal style. You know those earrings, mouth piercing, long hair, brown cargo pants/shorts and of course band t-shirts. I think I'll embrace the second style, it's cheaper.

Most Thrashers wear basketball shoes/hitops. I'm surprised you didnt know as I'd say about 99% of conversations with your average thrasher are about hightops haaha

Other than band shirts I wear I love to wear anime shirts and movie shirts such as breakfast club, starwars, the munsters (TV series) some horror movies shirts, dark colored sweaters things like those.

Mine is just band tee, leather jacket(on cold days) battle vest, converse, skinny or straight jeans

My outfit is almost always oversized black denim jacket with rips, light coloured cargo's and black kombat boots. If it's cold i'l wear a hoody if it's not cold i'l wear a distressed band teeshirt.

As a guy metalhead I wear vinyl pants, patent leather boots with my band shirts and battle jacket. But for the pants and boots I get called g@y for it..... I personally like the glossy style more than matte leather
