But what do you think about the question posed at the end? I expect you to be all over that.!
I started 3D printing in 2014 with a terrible machine, got frustrated, and gave up. Nerf modding (Especially Out of Darts) got me back into 3D printing in a big way, we really need more collabs with Luke!
Amazing models! Would be awesome for all of us to go to a 3D Printing Faire and have a competition 😎
Oh man I recently found Out Of Darts KZread channel and I was hooked. What he is doing with all the mods is amazing. Seeing the he has grown to such a big 3d printing business is inspiring. Digging through my sons collection of Nerf blasters to pick one to modify now :) First time I saw his prototype video for that big hopper blaster my jaw just dropped! I need one of those in my life lol

It's so refreshing to see people who not only enjoy their work, but have so much passion that they make it look like it's not even work, but just a hobby. Very awesome to see!
If you ever get the chance, I'd also get in touch with Captain Slug. He's basically been the forefather to the entire 3d printed blaster sub-hobby. Slug has made lever action blasters, pump action blasters, elastic driven blasters and tons more.

Resin SCAR (String Centered Auto Rotating) barrels would probably negate the need for strings, allowing you to print the part in one go without major post processing (other than the regular resin procedures. The resin Jupiter might be more brittle, but it should hold up. Would love to see it!

Went to the web site and did a search for vacuum or suction and got no result for merch so is there any plans on making a vacuum to suck up all those foam balls (filtering out things like lint/dirt/sand) back into the container or something automatic like a a small swarm of pre-programmed roomba-like creations that cleans up an indoor playing area for you (on a flat surface like concrete)?

The Nerf community is pretty great like that. I'd say it's slightly less fun than paintball or airsoft, but the trade off, almost nobody in the hobby has a toxic attitude. Everyone's just there to have fun and be ridiculous.
I would love to see a resin Jupiter I’m looking at buying a Jupiter and proton pack right now 😳🔥🔥
Love all of this. A galaxy resin jupiter, or a jupiter color-scheme'd jupiter would be fantastic What ever happened to that rival capatable shotgun design?
Great video, I am going to be getting my first 3d printer soon because my hobby is nerf. I'm nearly there with the saving but not sure which printer to get, my budget is £200 to £300 (pounds, I am British) so I have plenty of options. I intend to print the Lynx, it's a great bullpup springer blaster.
Awasome🔥💕😍👌👍
I want that Jupiter blaster and the Proton pack but I'd need a wheelchair or cane mount. It would be fun to be transformed into a Nerf Battery.

The top rail does not “improve” this blaster. The rear rail has a built in riser. So it compensates for longer shots and dart drop…
Hey joe ... Why you don't built a beautifull blv printer??😊😊😬😉
Out of darts be like "I sell nerf and nerf accessories"
Do they not have parts melt in peoples cars if it’s printed out of PLA?
All of this is great, and truly amazing... But t for the PLA parts.. What happens if I leave the gun in the trunk or backseat of my car one hot summer and forget about it? I’m imagining the result is exactly what I think it is.
The nexus is available at any big box store called walmart.

while I was putting together the open rc f1 car. I used resin parts and noticed that the resin parts. Were smaller and wouldn't hold screws. Like the screw would just keep spinning. It would be interesting to see how a Jupiter blaster out of resin would be like.
@harmless6813
2 жыл бұрын
Resin does shrink while curing, so you will need to take that into account when printing. Usually the resin's spec sheet will tell you the approximate shrinkage rate. Normal resin is also rather hard and brittle, so you can't just drive in a self-tapping screw. In my opinion, it's a bad choice for making something like a blaster. Maybe tough resins will work.
@powcar91
2 жыл бұрын
@@harmless6813 I had some resin prints shattered when I accidentally dropped them. I haven't tried tough resin yet.
A resin SCAR is about the only thing that makes sense really. The weight/strength of resin really doesnt lend to the impact of the blaster itself, IMO.

@@jamesmatthew2677 in fact they just released their first injection molded product: that huge magazine used in the Lynx.
