FYI the whole world is not so consumed by the social media dystopian dilution of you must have everyone's approval of how to live your life for your life to be happy. Disagreement is fine in all aspects of life, at least your standing up for something. We trappers show even our children how harmless these traps are by putting fingers hands and feet in these traps all the time, both my young boys had their hands in traps by age five. Harmless

Nice try but it’s more like this…. We are hired to set them, catch them and the one who hires us doesn’t care if we release or dispatch. They just want the animal removed from their land. We chose to relocate because it’s in the best interest of the animal and us. They are not harmed as it is a soft catch trap. Hopefully this will educate you for your future comments.

That coyote or sure docile and calm for that man. The coyote was probably just so thankful to see someone there willing to help get him out of the trap. I wish they could have videoed longer so we could see the interaction between them afterwards

As you raised the subject,you are perfectly OK with just one example of ruined habitat?Like the 22mile long lake in America that has totally destroyed all and any wildlife that drinks from it? Every tree within 40 meters of the lake shore is dead,as for our household laptops etc etc,what are you using,a typewriter?

If the coyote was going to be killed, there'd be no need to release the trap with the animal still alive. Also, note #relocation in the screen references.

It’s clear that the trapper is not dispatching the yote at the trap area so he he re-use it. He probably sits on it by the truck to dispatch it.

@DAVE I know what the SOP is I'm a Trapper but the way you worded your original comment made you sound like a f****** crazy anti trapper and for the record I've never met a Trapper the dispatches with anything but a 22 or an air rifle or a CO2 chamber

@Marcus Norman I should have said stand. Most trappers will stand on the lungs to dispatch the coyote. This will prevent having holes in the hide. Most nowadays will just shoot them with a 22 because the price for hides is so low. The SOP is to hit it in the head, knock it out, then stand on its lungs to dispatch.

The trap causes no pain at all, trappers constantly prove this by sticking hands and fingers in their traps and showing it

Those kind of traps ( steel) should be illegal. They cause a while lot of pain to whatever steps in it too the point some wildlife will chew their foot off.

Yeah nope, you’re wrong. There are metal tabs that keep the jaws from closing tightly on the foot. The foot is loose but can’t be pulled out. You’re ignorant about the subject.
