We own a pest control and wildlife management company. Never a dull moment around here! We handle all kinds of pest from an ant to a coyote. We prefer to live trap during the season we are allowed to relocate. We will however trap and dispatch if needed or required. We relocate to an area that the numbers are low and far away from the original trap locations. You may also see videos of our 2 children (22yo son and 18yo daughter) and a 2 year old toddler that we took in in Oct 2021. We are a Christian family who loves the Lord and each other. We catch a lot of grief on here when it comes to trapping but we only use humane traps that do not cause damage no matter what you may hear. Here in NC the law is that you have to check the traps daily, they also are labeled with our company and number. I am also a licensed wildlife rehabber. We use 1.5 soft catch traps. Brave, crazy, or just plain dumb? Can't make my mind up lol. I think the same thing about myself handling all the rattlesnakes, water moccasins, copperheads, and everything else in my state when I was young. Sure glad it never went too south on me. My friend and I caught one once & went in to eat putting it in a milk jug in his step dad's truck passenger floor. His mom wouldn't let it in the house. Well, he decided to run to the store and seen it opening it up to look in it while driving down the road cause he heard the snake moving in the container. Guess it came crawling out the top soon as it opened. Well, he broke the law cause he littered that day but did it fast enough nobody ever seen it. The risk that saliva that might transmit rabies from a single drop in an eye even is scary to me. By the time you know you have it it's too late. Don't think I could do that.

Use large dogs like a Caucasian Ovcharka Shepherd dog or Anatolian Shepherd dog or a Kangal Shepherd dog to guard your livestock from coyotes not bear traps.

I know some folks cry about killing coyotes but until you've seen what they can do to a large calf if singled out.... youd put them down to. Whats crazy is how rampant they are, every billy bob here are busy hunting out of season yet don't kill wild hogs and coyotes so not only have they lowered the population of non predators but elevated levels of predators in a farm community (it's usually the so called redneck/white trash) while country folks and farmers that understand the balance of nature get hunting season robbed from them but as a reward we have to spend more to keep livestock safe. You don't have to be stinky communist hippie that larps as a conservationist, you can be a real conservationist that lives on your land and understands it.
