About to replace some of my hard fuel lines with soft lines as well. When removing the tank the hard lines were a bitch to disconnect fron the sending unit and there was no room to do it while the bed is on. Bent one of them and decided to just say bye to them

I ordered the Spectre tank for mine, but it didn't come painted just galvanized so i scuffed it with a Scotch Brite on a drill and primed it and painted it with three coats of Valspar Tractor and Implement paint. You can't hardly scratch that stuff off with a key.

Question, im working on a 1979 chevy silverado just like this one on video! Its gas! I dropped both fuel tanks right each sending units have three hose connections, i oredered new units a d both came with two hose connections, then i ordered them again and this this time they sent one unit with three hose connections and one with two hose. Will either of these two sets work or not???? Or do they have to be the ones with three hose connections! Kind of stuck here lol 😆 ive talked to two mechanics and they both have different opinions on this matter. NEED HELP

Thanks for watching I really appreciate the support! So I could be wrong but there’s three hose connections on the diesel ones cause one is the feed to fuel pump, 2nd is the return fuel line and the 3rd is to a on/off spout on the side of the frame that’s for separating water from diesel fuel… so I’m going to guess you need the 2 hose connection sending units 😊
