i love how every video theyre like "where are we gonna put these eggs?!" [finds a spot] "oh we can do this/they can go here!" "ok well NOW we have NO SPACE left for ANY eggs." [more eggs happen next video and they find a spot] that incubator is like a clown car in there

Big box literally wouldn't fit thought! I'm kinda freaked out at the prospect of there being no space in incubation.

That tiny incubator is just infinite Everytime you need to put something in, it magically readjusts to make room for all of the containers

KZread flags reptile feeding videos as animal abuse (because they eat other animals), so they don't show it often to prevent demonetization

@@conlon4332 they do I'm pretty sure? A lot of people find feedings disturbing so it makes sense that they flag them. Some people report them as well since they are disturbing to many people. People who feed bugs like cockroaches also can get reported I'm fairly certain.

I love that part too. I was super sick when I had my kiddo so I wasn’t allowed to eat for two days after labor and boy did I want a snack.

Yay. More hognoses. Azura tried at least. it always the hognoses this time who keep trying and sometimes fail. I think we had two others who tried at least. Pfff, I love how construction ended up being a season for them. Maybe Azura will finally be lucky with eggs this time. Maybe Azura should be one of the first females paired with the males. Maybe that will finally help Azura out

@@kagehikari4281 in my city, it's pretty common for construction to start by accidentally bursting a water pipe or something, then breaking something else while they fix it. I think it's just their way of keeping busy. That, or they're really bad at their job.

I have personally noticed that the hognoses push the moss towards the entrance to their lay box. Almost like they might be trying to protect their eggs and themselves from potential predators while laying.

Could you keep all the containers aside when the eggs hatch? I really want to see how many containers you've managed to put into that tiny incubator!

I'd think the hardest part of breeding is saying bye to all the babies as they go to their new homes. Good job, Azura!

Poor Azura, having a clutch of mostly slugs! At least she safely got all of them out of her

I guess 5/14 was a popular to day for the snakes to lay eggs lol. Considering how many clutches there were on the 14 or shortly before or after I can only imagine how many baby noodles will be hatching around the same time!

Aw at least there's some good ones this year. Hoping all three of them hatch successfully! 🥰

The theme of this year’s breeding season is Ed and Emily worrying about space in the incubator for every clutch.

Aw the wee babies will be adorable regardless of the dad. I do wish there weren't so many slugs though. Egg cutting season is my favorite ❤

If you ever get three eggs again you should do a pokemon starter theme! (Ex. Charmander, Bulbasaur, & Squirtle) I also wonder if mama is just not a good breeder? She has slugged out before. But then again could be the males too. Do the males have a history of not pairing successfully as well? Regardless great video!

I think in the pairing video they said that this was one of the first times those males were getting proven for breeding

Emily: Breeding snakes isn't that hard. Ed: Shh... it's super difficult. Emily: 4:38 nonverbally and rudely gives Ed the sign what she's thinking.

We're still going to be excited! 3 eggs! You don't think some of it might have to do with her - since she's now had 2 clutches with so many slugs? If you breed her again with a completely different male(s) and she "slugs out" again, what about then? Can't wait for more videos!

I just ordered a het axanthic het toffeebelly hognose!! This will be my first hognose snake and I'm super thankful for you guys because you taught me so much about hognoses and definitely played a part in my love for hognose!

Actually, there might be a way to tell who the dad is. If I remember right, you paired either AD or Farkas with another female, didn't you? Depending on how fertile/what that clutch turns out to be, you'll be able to figure it out. If you didn't, try that next year, pairing the same male you pair with Azura to another female regardless of genetics, ideally one you know to lay fertile eggs often. See if that female has a lot of slugs. If so, you know the male isn't doing it right. If not, try the other male the next year.

I love these 2 so much. Some of the other channels cut open the eggs, when they think they are ready, and pull the babies out and it traumatizes ME. I can’t even imagine what the babies feel.

I think the first eggs are due to hatch in early July, but we probably won’t see the videos until mid-July or even early August.

Will the co2 break be in a future vlog? Hehe pretty excited to see these hatch though.. I feel like the construction egg will be the last to hatch because construction takes the longgeeesst
