Very true!

Well done on the new purchase, you're cornering the market in ENV's. I really wanted one a few years back but gave up due to lack of used examples plus the small range. But now that BYD have brought their cars to the UK I'm hoping they'll make their version of the ENV available aswell which has much better tech on board.

I would go either new or used Zappi charger (v2).

Great choice of vehicle! I have the small battery van version for work and it's been faultless in the 3 years I've had it. I'm a bit jealous of your 6.6 charger. Nice to see you are all doing well.

Yeah Amy has been making do with 3.3kw, actually works out ok, occasionally it would be loads better to charge twice as fast. You could retro fit if you could find the parts from a salvage yard.

Ian have you considered looking around for garages that might be able to do a Nissan Leaf battery upgrade? We live in Utah and out in Oregon there is a guy who does upgrades. He takes salvaged (damaged beyond repair) Nissan Leaf's that have the larger batteries and puts them in old Leaf's. We looked into one for our 2012 leaf. Almost pulled the plug on it the deal too, but we found a Kia Soul with a heat pump that was better suited to our 5 months of winter we get in the desert. It was about $13,000 at the time, if we lived in a temperate climate might of worked out well. I wonder if this could work for your older van? put in a battery that has 60KWh capacity.? anyway, food for thought for the future. I love that you are keeping this channel going with updates. I learned a lot from you back in my Leaf ownership days. Loved the car, shame about the battery degradation. Got a F-150 Lightning and the wife uses it for her work commute. We love it.. it's too big but other than that.. love it.

Yes, am hoping that it will become viable. Currently the only people doing it in the UK stopped due to loads of issues with it working reliably sadly!

Did I miss how much it cost? I love minivans, but I couldn't deal with the shorter range of the eNV200 as my only car.

Range is not great at all on the 24kwh (~65 winter ~80miles summer). But usability in terms of jobs/chores 100%. Reliability is excellent as well. They are tanks.

You still have Honda E? That would make it x4 EVs?

Usefulness basically. Can cart kids, dogs and massive boxes, up to a pallet in these env200’s. Super useful

And the Honda makes 4 EV ?
