This is common sense. When you are in heavy debt, reduce or remove any unnecessary spending. But common sense is not so common.

I following all his interview and speeches so i i hugely invested in his bank , appreciated his effort to grow the business....

The humbleness and simplicity of Mr. Vaidyanathan seen while talking to the person shows his connect to ground and for me it was heart touching. I am so happy to see that in Corporate world, still such kind hearted person is there. May God bless him.

Mr. Vaidyanathan did correct by hiding his designation, which led him to come across reality. Had he disclosed about himself, the taxi driver could have not been as honest as he was. I hope it was not only for publicity but a real ground test. On the other hand if it wasn't made available on public platform how could we know about the CEO efforts, at the end of the day the business should flourish and the shareholders, promoters as well as employees shall flourish together.

Brother check the LCV portfolio of any bank.you will get your answer. Mostly Govt. Bank gives LCV loans . No Pvt Banks entertain such customers. I'll be very happy if IDFC will not follow it's counterparts and help these poor people to stand on their own.

I knew very little about this man but day by day I'm becoming a huge fan of him...Does One man runs the banks and economy if somebody ask me question... I definitely show this great man...If I'm not wrong after he gone to the Kotak and ICICI those banks became powerful and profitable banks with concentration on retail investors just as we seen in this Taxi...That is his Vision and Plan ... Bank doesn’t have product to provide them loan..!! They dont have Income proof to show it to bank This is actually reality many Drivers daily civil labours are still suffering Please we request introduce some products to provide loan to them..!! Hope you read comment & help them with finances

True, That's why this reality check has happened so that a product could be created to uplift these poor but hard working people, Vaidhyanathan sir, just thought about this unorganized sector of lending...he is a man with Golden 💛...iam also a banker and shareholder of IDFC first bank too..my current business profile is of SME lending and me too feel same for them. The idea has been conceived and the product will surely be developed by the banks product designing team.... The bank is bound to flourish with the blessings of all such helpless people, when the bank will come forward to help them and that is going to be win win situation for both of them...... @@paulj625 Syndicate Bank has started Daily Deposit collection scheme for saving as well as for financing fisherwomens about 90 year ago and appreciated as innovative scheme in Banking world. Same principle can be adopted in new products for small business owners Group liability principle is also worth considering.
