best thing i recently learned from tiktok is buy an airtag. because when you put it in your suitcase and you're on the plane you'll be able to see it below you and know that it made the plane. and if you don't see it on your connecting flight, you will at least know it was left behind in that airpot and maybe get it back easier?? i know you probably know it was left behind in london but might give some peace of mind in the future

the same thing happened around 2 months ago to my family when we flew out of the country. the airline ended up reimbursing us for the items we bought that we needed that were lost in our suitcases. our bags were eventually returned towards the middle of our trip but it still sucked! honestly ruined the first few days of the trip 😭

Oh no!!! Since your luggage was lost you will now learn an invaluable lesson… Pack LIGHT, only pack a carry-on (you could pack for two weeks in a carry-on) and if you absolutely need to pack and check an extra suitcase, put in that one all the extra things that you probably will not wear or need. Also, your Essentials i.e. swimsuit and make a bag always goes in your personal item!! 🤗💕

Emily!!!! You can get reimbursed for anything you need until they get your luggage. I spent almost $2000 when they couldn’t find my luggage for 4 days and got reimbursement. Look into that!!!

I've heard it's just as easy to lose weight on vaca as it is to gain weight! Plus, being in Greece, Mediterranean diet is SOOO much different than our diet in the states. I'm sorry about the luggage situation, hopefully it got resolved sooner rather than later!

I always travel with my makeup, facial essentials, jewelry & days worth of clothes in my carry on. Its always over weight so thats why you only put x amount of pounds in there..have the person who is dropping you off wait with your other stuff to put it in there after it gets weighed 🤗 life hacks I can't live without. And for the return I just shove the excess in the checked bag.

@Denise Colvin because my makeup & facial stuff would always explode or break no matter how I wrapped them...like from the air pressure, being tossed around...you hear about TSA or airport employees breaking into your bag..they've broken so many of my locks..after they weighed the carry on & depending on airliner, they'll give you a tag & as long as you're putting it in the overhead & not the flight attendant then you won't ever have a problem.

So sorry about your luggage. As a travel agent I can tell you air has been the most frustrating situation for my clients! Did you purchase travel insurance? Most policies can assist and reimburse for lost baggage. Adorable outfits you got though to hold you over!
