Our Little Box Room
It all started with an idea and quick sketch drawing.
We needed to organise the smallest bedroom of our house. It was once used as a study and computer room but in recent years became an unusable dumping ground and filing room.
The brief was to redesign the room as a usable infrequently used guest bedroom with plenty of storage areas. I also wanted to be able to use it as a wardrobe/dressing room for my motorcycle gear.
There were other issues with the room which also needed addressing. The house was built in the 1930s and it was showing. The room was cold with the lack of effective insulation. The electrics and heating pipes needed replacing amongst other issues I came across during the renovation journey.
