Same, though my brother loved Our lady peace and I was an Offspring fan looking back now I was in great shape. Now I'm a disabled vet and starting life all over again, the song fits the mood for sure and it's totally a gut shot with much more relivence at 32 then when I was 15 lol

He has a ‘voice’ in which he shoves his throat voice upwards into nasal voice/tone. Very unattractive vocally, not a skilled singer at all.

My mom passed away when I was 15, Our Lady Peace was definitely an oasis for me when I was in high school. As you get older, you uncover more and more ways that your mom is always with you. #quantumentanglement. Hope all is well.

Spiritual Machines is easily one of the best rock albums of the 90's (early 00's). It is OLP's masterpiece.

A time capsule I made when I was 6 said this was my favorite song It’s weird looking at all the serious depressed comments, knowing this was the happiest bop in my little life.

Raine Maida...my first serious celebrity crush. OLP carried me through junior high and into the scary world of highschool. I always return to their music in tough times. I hate how underrated they have always been. They will always be my favorite band!

im Australian, lived in Toronto in the 90's. our lady peace shaped my life. just stumbled on this song. these guys are awesome. miss Canada so much. Australia and Canada are so similar and yet so different.!!!!

They just don't make songs like this anymore! This song in particular has always been a favorite and I swear talks about me at times. Amazing every time I hear it.

Honestly in my opinion this is one of the most underated OLP songs ever and there one of the most underated Canadian bands

Yes, I'm Canadian😇. This song brings tears to my eyes👁👁😢for many reasons. The 90s & early 2000s were happier times for this country, and it never was due to politics. We just loved our Canadian musicians, and the music was indeed a great unifier

I love Our Lady Peace, when I talk about them my friends say "who?" or don't even listen no matter how many times I try to get them to listen. They talk about MCR taking away so much pain but I swear this band... it is amazing... and not many people know about them so it is like it is my own personal band.

one of Canada's Finest... but, sadly... underrated. I love this song, I am at awe. especially with the baseline on the bridge part. I had bassline melody goosebumps.

This song probably saved my life at least once....and given me strength to keep going more than a few times...

@@bigbirdbigbird I think it was "Life is waiting for you, it's all messed up but we'll survive". It's such a simple message but for an angsty kid who had issues at home, so powerful. And so applicable even decades later. Makes me a bit emotional just hearing that phrase sung again

I mother Earth and our lady peace concert was 10$ in small bar back in the mid 90's awesome concert, also tea party was pretty good at that time, dont forget Rush ad many more

When this was on the radio, I was only about 11 years old... I didn't understand the lyrics... I mean. You kinda sing a long. But it's all in one ear and out the other with the actual message... Now coming back to it years later, it's hitting me like a lead weight, a nuclear bomb.. A round of tank ammunition. I couldn't relate to the lyrics more in my life than now.. Lately, this past year has been one of the worst in my entire life.. Not trying to be mellow dramatic, but yeah, it has been... I got no one.. Except for my immediate family..my mom and my brother, And that's it. I'm very beyond thankful for them. When you cut the fat off the top, and really dive in, you realise who your real friends were and who was never there for you.. I ask myself If I was the bad friend.. I guess my problem was I was always too damn kind to those that didn't deserve it.. That's the reality of life. And all those going through the same thing, I hear yeah, and I'm with you.. 👍👊 life's waiting for you.. Everyday is a new start..

Worked security at a Guns and Roses concert in Regina, SK. and these guys opened up for them - I remember hearing all their songs and almost tearing up, This band helped me through alot of hard times.

This was my "go to" Song when I was facing hard times. And there were alot more hard times then normal in my life caused by family. I thank you Our Lady Peace!

I love this band, and especially this song. It's helped me find peace with with decades long health conditions. I'm not perfect, but I'm still wonderful and do the best I can for others.

My dad was just recently diagnosed with Cancer. I found this song and I've been listening to it ever since. (:

This song does not get the live versions that it deserves. It's always a mini throw in with other songs and in my opinion should be played in full more than it is.

When I first met Rain I didn't know who the hell he was lol; my friends were making a big deal about it and I was like meh. About 3-4 years later I started listening to their music and that time I met him is now a lot more of a big deal in hindsight

Still holds up love this band.
