Oh my word, this was like 20 years ago lol. I've always been chill (not a cheater 🤣), me and my friend had a few beers in us and my friend grabbed her guitar and started playing and singing this. So I listened to the real version. I just love Melissa Etheridge's voice. She's the same friend that got me into Ani Difranco 😁

Other recommendations of Melissa's: " Bring Me Some Water" "Like the Way I Do" and "Ain't it Heavy" all rock and she brings it 100% every time.

Should check out some songs by Bonnie Raitt, she's amazing

She got cranked up to 11 in my family’s car... “come to my window! Crawl inside... wait by the light of the moon!” I was young (now 35) and I still remember her lyrics from back then. I’m so thankful for having the parents I had... they never instilled nonsensical bias into me... I wish the same were true for everyone... children are often victims of their predecessors (You’re not a parent unless you parent) idiotic ideals.
