It might be a little bit too far from you but could you come to any of the cons in The Netherlands? My favorite is at the end of August every year (its called abunai), but there is also one in May and February. Me and my friends would love to meet you guys! I love your videos! this was all so sweet and amazing I honestly started to cry. Cons make me so happy and seeing people dress up and have fun at them is like the best thing in the world and that proposal was the cutest thing omg

I know 7:50 is supposed to be a romantic gesture to show your devotion to the world, but I would seriously die of embarrassment if that happened to me. If my bf ever did that to me, I would seriously run the other direction, and people would think it all went wrong... But I would accept in private. I just wouldn't be able to handle all that. I'd be like "stop, don't, I don't want all this attention like this". XD

I love the music you guys choose for all your videos. It's great stuff and whether it's one of your documentary-esque vids or one of these, it's always perfect for the subject matter. The choices you made in the Kyoto video especially were wonderful. :)

I really only go to one convention a year and it's this weekend! This looked like so much fun and now it's got me excited as well. :)

awww I don't think that's the case at all! I was like that because I'm short and pretty feminine. But it doesn't matter if you look exactly like the character you're cosplaying as! Just have fun and be yourself and maybe get into character every once in a while. For me,whenever I saw cosplay I knew,whether they were spot on or slightly off,I still wanted their pictures and talk to them because they put in effort into their cosplays. Personally,there are a bunch of male anime characters I want to be and I'm going for it because I know that most people are accepting and will still approach me. And if you're worried about skin color or weight,don't be. I've seen so many different people all over try it and they look fabulous. I say go for it :)

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... hold the phone. I don't know whether to be surprised that you guys we're so close to where I live, or that there are more anime cons around me than I thought. I live in SC. I haven't been looking into them as much as I used to years ago due to being so busy and our previous events being rather small. But *now*... I just found out there are quite a few even in our state! We even have a *Kantai Collection* based one coming up in a little over 10 days! It's on the *USS Yorktown* aircraft carrier and has apparently been attracting more and more people! It's doubled *yet again* as an attraction lol Might have been the spark that we needed. So I have to thank you guys. I'm definitely inspired to learn more about whats my state. I usually have my sights set for far away places. Is kinda funny how we always learn about new places from your videos, but *now*... you're showing me stuff much closer to me. I might even make a trip to this one up north next year! Glad ya had fun! (But seriously, I can't believe you two are in the east coast!)

First anime conventions are the best! I went to mine which was a school sponsored one last year, and I had a lot of fun. This year, I get to cosplay in my first cosplay contest.

The dancing Pikachu was so adorable :) There were a lot of really unique and well done Pokémon costumes there. Those are hard to do. Most of them weren't just a replica of the actual Pokémon, like the giant Pikachu suit. Since they're like animals, people had to be more creative about it. Awesome! :)

Glad that you liked your first anime convention. What is funny that i was in a anime convention last week-end, there a anime convention near where i live it's called Otakuthon and this year was my 8 time going there. Fun fact about Otakuthon is that it's the second biggest anime con in Canada that the 10th biggest in north america. Well, i hope for you to go each year in a anime convention because they are awesome.

i liked the beginning. reminded me of the anime expo video in Nagoya. but in Japan they go the extra mile to do eye make up to make them look even more like anime characters.
