@MrsAliceKb
4 жыл бұрын
It is small but at least they have a separate bedroom. I have lived with my fiance in a one room apartment, for over a year now. One room meaning kitchen, living room and bedroom in one room. Our apartment is 20 square meters and living in it is so cramped. Luckily, my dad just helped us to buy an apartment that's 39 square meters. The cost for it is insane but if we didn't buy an apartment we would be stuck in our current rental apartment for years to come. We live in Gothenburg, Sweden. There's a huge (rental)housing crisis here and getting a rental apartment LEGALLY in a good area of the city requires about 6-8 years of queing time. This apartment that Rachel and Jun lived in might seem small to normal people but to me it looks spacious 😂 I understand why they wanted to move though 😊

I feel the smoking neighbour problem! Our apartment sits above the carpark where all the neighbours go to smoke. If we have our windows open the smoke will just come straight in and some neighbours will even smoke right beneath our open window. Our upstairs neighbour also smokes and our building has a ducted air system so it seeps into our apartment through the vents! It's the one thing I hate about our apartment.

Oh the smoking neighbor and the paint peeling into the bath would drive me nuts. I don’t know how you kept your hair long for all that time. I probably would have caved and cut it shoulder length or slightly shorter to have less hair to wash.Your hair is beautiful. I can see why you struggled through
Good luck in Fukuoka!! We have enjoyed your videos for years.
You guys have encouraged me to learn Japanese!! I love you guys so much and your such an inspiration!
"No one expected the tall Japanese man cook" :D
Just... if you can... film your cats playing with the packing stuff.

WOW! This appartment is much bigger and nicer than anything I'll ever be able to afford, but still when you list all the problems you had with it I feel really sorry for you! Congratulations on moving, hope the new place is much better ;3
Moving is always mendokusai and takes a lot of, but I LOVE moving!! it just gives me changes and freshness of my life xD

MaoMao TV - I think you mean that you like experiencing new places and changing your surroundings from time to time to keep things fresh, as do I. I don’t think anyone likes the actual process of moving however as it’s a royal pain in the ass, especially in Japan (that is unless you hire movers to do it for you). By the way, where exactly do these guys currently live anyway? They said they were in central Japan but they can’t be living in Tokyo if everyone they know is moving away from them. After all, I lived in Tokyo for 5 years and I probably knew over 100 people yet I can’t remember any of them ever moving away unless it was to spend time overseas for a year or so before coming back to Tokyo again. I guess the big city is not for everyone though and if you live in the countryside there is definitely a chance that your closest friends might decide to move somewhere else leaving you kind of bored and lonely with nobody to talk to but your cats.

Exactly my thoughts, I was like I could handle some things for a pretty decent looking place in Japan but this is actually pretty bad.

same that toilet was proper claustrophobic, i would hate to use that toilet, i'm tall too so i would barely fit.

yeah the fact that rachel can't wash her hair properly i can relate to that, must be annoying.
I remember one of the first vids I watched on this channel. Jun demonstrating how easy it is to hit your head, in japanese houses. When you're tall.
i missed your videos so much!!!! i wish you all the luck for your moving process
Good luck with the move Could you do a house tour when you get there please.
Rachel: "Pretty tiles, pretty floors blablabla" Me: *distracted*, *staring at Poki* "Yeah. Yeah. Pretty. Uh-huh."

Omg me too such a pretty kitty 💕 all the pretty kittys.
This minor things matter! When you have tough time outside, you want to come back home relax and these inconveniences add up to the stress you have. I know it, its not the biggest problem in the world, but they have impact. Good video
I am excited for you guys. I hope this you live happily with this change.
IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE YOU UPLOADED! But Poki's gonna miss that trash can though 😂😂😂 Good luck in your new home!
I think the water pressure thing would annoy me the most and the doors that don’t shut all the way.
Rachel: Let us show you to our doorways **Jun slips under tiny doorway to go to the next room** Me: what i didnt see that clearly what did he do?? **replays** Me: ohhhhhh thats one tiny doorway..... Or is it just that Juns too tall??
I cannot not watch you guys, you’re so entertaining, I love your videos!!!
man, I hope you guys have a nice new apartment, you guys deserve the best. i have a severe hearing disorder, so it's hard for me to enjoy videos, but you caption so incredibly well that you're the one (well, I guess you have a few lol) channel that my hearing doesn't matter! you folks are my favorites to watch.

Omg, I didn’t see this until now, but I was living in Fukuoka as an exchange student when this video came out. I’m so surprised 😂 Fukuoka is such a wonderful place, you guys made a great choice moving there 😊
Please make a tour through your new flat! I’m pretty sure everybody would love to see how better the new place is ^^
