Our Black Hole is Sucking a Mystery Object. Now, It's Going To Erupt

Ғылым және технология

The black hole at the center of our galaxy, Sagittarius A*, is sucking a mystery object. Astronomers say it will lead to the black hole's eruption in 2036. The mystery object has been named X7, and it's more than 50 times the mass of the Sun. But what’s the exact nature of this mystery object? How did it get so close to the galactic center? Finally, and most importantly, why is the understanding of the origin and the fate of X7 so critical for astronomers?
The 53rd episode of the Sunday Discovery Series answers all these questions.

@@overtoke “our galaxy may be [...] active” - Meh. It's as meek as it gets. An AGN is an awesome, majestic, mindboggling thing. A strong, hot, vigorous AGN may outshine its host galaxy by the factor of a million. In fact, Hubble cannot resolve the closest to us AGN galaxy, all we see is one pixel-the AGN itself. The galaxy is too far, too dim, and we wouldn't have even known it had been there, if not for the active nucleus. I'd say, the opposite is true: we're here because our galactic centre is so calm. Somehow AGN often suppress star formation in the whole galaxy, despite being as little as teeny-tiny 20 AU in size, about the size of Saturn's orbit. Why so, is uncertain. AGN is pretty much a dot of no size in comparison to the size of its galaxy. Maybe we're alone because everyone else looked at us and left the galaxy screaming, taking offense in sharing it with such an abomination? J/k, but not ha-ha j/k. It sound as plausible as your guess. The point is, naturally, that a hypothesis should try to plausibly explain more than one thing, based on evidence.

I'm a stupid person so don't really listen to me but I think we as human beings can not reach the understanding of "the ultimate truth" or "truth" or whatever other name you can give it. We are simply not suppose to. Maybe the "truth" is that there is no "truth" or "ultimate truth" etc. Of course there is no purpose, you give it yourself or just stop searching for it. It doesn't matter if you really exist or not, where you really are or whatever other things people like to fantasize about, just "be", like a flower or something similar to it, without pretending to be something else, something you aren't. Don't give any significance to things and don't see that as being something bad. All that matters is for you to be an honourable and good person, put yourself through bad and good things and "experience" them, because only through experiencing them both comes the "valuing" of each of them and with that the birth of the "significance" and "purpose" of the two. Don't think partner, let the other people try to figuring it out ;) but again don't listen to me, I'm stupid and not "ok" in the head. Stay safe, wishing you only the best on your path!

I know for a fact that God exists, as my journey led me to becoming Mickey Mouse officially in Disney/Kingdom Hearts just one year after naming my dog Mickey - and that’s just ONE of the scary “coincidences” dealing with this…I have also become best bros with Scott Innes, the voice of Scrappy-Doo and Scooby-Doo in real life after I had a dream as a child that I would save Scrappy as someone famous. Proof that none of that was coincidence, which means that a higher power exists. God.

QUESTIONS: CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: Ask yourself: Where does all the water on this Earth come from? While basic Hydrogen (1 single proton with 1 single electron) is the most abundant element in this universe, where exactly does all the oxygen come from to make all that water? WATER ON EARTH: Consider the following: (copy and paste from my files): When Earth's magnetic field gets weaker, especially during a strong solar storm: Van Allen Belt (Higher electron area) [e] V Van Allen Belt (Higher proton area) [p] V Ozone layer (Higher oxygen area) [O3] V Rain / Mix / Snow / Ice (Depending upon temperature) V Surface of Earth (and us). * Weaker Earth's magnetic field, especially during strong solar storms * 'e' from outer area comes down lower to 'p' area making basic Hydrogen atom [H] * Basic Hydrogen might connect with another Hydrogen in that area making a Hydrogen molecule [H2] * Hydrogen molecule meets with ozone layer picking up an oxygen atom [H2 + O], [H2O] * Depending upon temperature, rain, mix, snow or ice forms and falls to the surface of the Earth and on us. "Noah, time to build another ark. Or in modern times, aircraft carriers, large cruise ships, basically floating cities." Oh and also, electrolizing water (melted snow and ice even), possibly with 'green' energy (telluric, wind, solar, other electromagnetic radiation energy frequencies, etc.) to make Hydrogen and Oxygen (Water is basically a safe storage area of Hydrogen and Oxygen). (Hydrogen fuel cell technologies with a by-product of basically pure water. Or even burn the Hydrogen/Oxygen mixture to get heat, steam, etc., if needed.) * And the Earth's magnetic field is currently projected to be at it's weakest around 2035.

OXYGEN: (copy and paste from my files): a. Supposedly oxygen is generated in the core of stars, at temperatures around 100 million degrees 'C' through a process of fusion of lower elements. b. The Sun is supposedly made up of mostly plasma (electrons disassociated from atoms). c. Water on Earth of course is H2O (2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom). Hydrogen is the most abundant element in this universe. There is a lot of water on this Earth. So, 1. How exactly did the oxygen from the center of stars get to this Earth? 2. And if oxygen can get from the center of stars to this Earth, where is all the oxygen on other planets and moons? (Of which they should have Hydrogen atoms on them, so where is all their water and oxygen molecules?) d. And what about all the other oxygen atoms that make up other oxygen molecules on this Earth? They all had to have come from stars as well. How exactly did the Earth get flooded with so many oxygen atoms? Periodic novas of our Sun? (And nitrogen atoms and some other chemical elements in those novas too that reached this Earth?) e. 'IF SO', then when is the next Sun's periodic nova? And what of 'life' on this Earth? 1 side of Earth blasted the other side away from the Sun okay? And what if we have species in outer space, on the Moon and/or Mars and the Sun novas?

@@charlesbrightman4237 hi, that is a good question. As you know hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. Next is helium. All other higher elements came into existence later by fusion when a Star runs out of hydrogen fuel. As the giant star comes to a stage where the outward explosion and gravitational confinement are not in balance it explodes (supernova) disseminating all the nuclear stuff all around that contain all the heavy elements (92 natural and the other man made but that originally existed and decayed short living elements) When the earth formed around 4.5 billion years ago the atmosphere was not there. It was a fire ball that got cooled over say a billion year by torrential rains that lasted for several hundred millions of years. Yes all the water were brought to earth by asteroids and comets that bombarded the earth. The primitive earth's atmosphere contained methane, sulphur, ammonia water vapour. After primitive life forms started evolving under the oceans and blue green algae started photosynthesis to liberate free oxygen in the atmosphere. We are still uncertain if the primitive organic molecules were seeded on the earth from the same asteroids. In your story you suddenly found ozone in the atmosphere that combined with hydrogen molecules to form watt. You didn't account for the ozone, an isotope of oxygen. Hope this helps. De VU2RZA

Oceans also containing H2O. "You didn't account for the ozone, an isotope of oxygen." Sure I did: "Ozone layer (Higher oxygen area) [O3]" in my opening thread. All the oxygen atoms are supposedly created by fusion in the core of stars. The cross of Christ will be the science and the song of the redeemed through all eternity. In Christ glorified they will behold Christ crucified. Never will it be forgotten that He whose power created and upheld the unnumbered worlds through the vast realms of space, the Beloved of God, the Majesty of Heaven, He whom cherub and shining seraph delighted to adore,-humbled himself to uplift fallen man; that he bore the guilt and shame of sin, and the hiding of his Father’s face, till the woes of a lost world broke his heart, and crushed out his life on Calvary’s cross. That the Maker of all worlds, the Arbiter of all destinies, should lay aside his glory, and humiliate himself from love to man, will ever excite the wonder and adoration of the universe. As the nations of the saved look upon their Redeemer, and behold the eternal glory of the Father shining in his countenance; as they behold his throne, which is from everlasting to everlasting, and know that his kingdom is to have no end, they break forth in rapturous song, “Worthy, worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and hath redeemed us to God by his own most precious blood!” GC88 651.2 There, immortal minds will contemplate with never-failing delight the wonders of creative power, the mysteries of redeeming love. There will be no cruel, deceiving foe to tempt to forgetfulness of God. Every faculty will be developed, every capacity increased. The acquirement of knowledge will not weary the mind or exhaust the energies. There the grandest enterprises may be carried forward, the loftiest aspirations reached, the highest ambitions realized; and still there will arise new heights to surmount, new wonders to admire, new truths to comprehend, fresh objects to call forth the powers of mind and soul and body. GC 677.2 All the treasures of the universe will be open to the study of God’s redeemed. Unfettered by mortality, they wing their tireless flight to worlds afar-worlds that thrilled with sorrow at the spectacle of human woe and rang with songs of gladness at the tidings of a ransomed soul. With unutterable delight the children of earth enter into the joy and the wisdom of unfallen beings. They share the treasures of knowledge and understanding gained through ages upon ages in contemplation of God’s handiwork. With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation-suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Upon all things, from the least to the greatest, the Creator’s name is written, and in all are the riches of His power displayed. GC 677.3 And the years of eternity, as they roll, will bring richer and still more glorious revelations of God and of Christ. As knowledge is progressive, so will love, reverence, and happiness increase. The more men learn of God, the greater will be their admiration of His character. As Jesus opens before them the riches of redemption and the amazing achievements in the great controversy with Satan, the hearts of the ransomed thrill with more fervent devotion, and with more rapturous joy they sweep the harps of gold; and ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of voices unite to swell the mighty chorus of praise. GC 678.1 “And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13. GC 678.2 The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and inanimate, in their unshadowed beauty and perfect joy, declare that God is love. GC 678.3 I highly recommend 'Conflict of the Ages' series of five books by Christian Author Ellen G. White (Authentic Seer/Prophet of God).....
