We were just there in March and since this video we have heard the food quality has really gone down hill. Everything was very carb heavy with very few healthy options. I ended up eating the same three things for every meal the entire week. We dis eat at the Japanese restaurant. You are incorrect, it is ala Cart and costs $30 per person but it was very good. Staff was friendly as long as you tipped they would return. We won’t be going back.

Hi guys, which hotel would be best for 12 and 9 years olds from majestic colonial, fantasia, barcelo, Grand Palladium or Grand bavaro princess. We like good food, pool and beach or do you think there is a better hotel than the ones mentioned, thanks

Hola! We can't comment on the Majestic Colonial, Fantasia yet since we haven't been yet and the Princess we'll visit later this month. Both the Barceló and Palladium complexes have many amenities that will keep your 9 and 12 year olds entertained. Between the two we prefer the Barceló Bavaro Palace. Hi, I have booked a Junior Suite, do you recommend upgrading to premiun level? I have seen that premiun drinks are not included. What is considered a premiun drink? Main brands? Or more expensive brands? Thanks!

Usually premium drinks mean famous drink brands from the DR and international (nothing very expensive though). I would upgrade in the Bavaro Palace as the regular rooms are not that nice. We haven’t tried the premium level rooms but they should be better 🙂

Going in. Nov for my cousin wedding I can't wait...

Yes 🙂 However, premium drinks are not included and the french restaurant is not included.

I think it's because it's heavily dominican food in tge buffet

Stayed June 2-9. Got back yesterday. Food and service is horrible and a joke. All the employees act like they hate their jobs. Nittygrittytravelers are paid sponsors. Of course they say everything is perfect.
