    we killed him, u think we should commit mass genocide in someone else country for a man we killed? like it or not those are the facts and there is no dispute. i know u are upset right know but that does not mean will kill ppl. don't get me wrong north Korea is as bad as we think it is. maybe alot worse but our government who acts as on behalf of the PEOPLE OF THE USA thats u and me and every other citizen and absolutely no other entity, person or group simply has no authority to kill other ppl in other country's. the ppl of this country have not and will not ever give consent to do so, unless we are attached on our soil.. and u can sleep good at night that will never happen as long as u live. all the rest of US government crimes against the world are acts of there own with no consent ether verbally, in writing or by actions from the ppl of the USA. now do u wont to give your consent to commit mass Genocide because u saw news clip that may or may not have any truth in it? if so then i understand your right to free speech but i wont take responsibility for it, i will defend my right not to be involved in killing people who do not pose a threat to me or my family

    I know that the Warmbier family will not see this post, but I still feel the need to write it. When your son arrived at Lunken airport in Cincinnati in June there were perhaps 80 or so people there to greet him. My friend and I were 2 of them. We were all scattered over a wide area, and of course behind the fence from the tarmack. We were all there for reasons known only to ourselves. My friend, a USMC veteran, and myself retired from the Navy were there because we believed he was a political prisoner and we wanted to welcome him home. As we all waited for the plane, very few words were spoken. When the plane came into view and landed no one took pictures, all just stood in silence, most of us weeping. When the plane passed in front of us, my friend and I stood at attention and rendered a hand salute. At that point we left the airport. We felt that this was the time for his family, and we didn't want to appear as morbid spectators as he was removed from the plane. I am very sorry this happened to your son. May God grant you peace and comfort.

    Yes it was proven he stole the poster and other items too. He confessed to it and people on the trip admitted he stole the stuff - more so to show off the propaganda poster and the other stuff he stole was to be a clown. So those on the trip that returned admitted it. They didn't kidnap him. They arrested him. What they did to him in prison was unspeakable. I suspect when he left in tears, some sadists decided to have fun with him. Just horrible! No one deserves this but stealing in a nutcase country like that is crazy. Why would anyone want to go THERE is beyond me. His parents knew and paid for it. It would be a cold day in hell before I let any of my kids go to a country like that or a Muslim dominated country. Their culture, laws and way of life are different. A communist country like NK us known to be tough in prisons and Kin with his people. It was buts to do what he did! Folks - DO NOT GO TO THESE CRAZY COUNTRIES!

    Agreed. He thought he would return from NK unscathed. He made a trip to communist Cuba before deciding it was a good idea to go on a “NK Party Tour”. He was 21 years old, his parents unable make a sound decision on his behalf. I hope for his younger brother and sisters sake his parents will take ownership of providing him the money he used to support a brutal communist regime. I’m not blaming them for the injury their adult son sustained while in a country under a communist regime that brutalizes their own people. Instead of continuing attempts to assign blame, currently calling on Biden to “take action” perhaps they will acknowledge their mistake of financing a “NK Party Tour”. I don’t know their motivation in ongoing attempts to incite enemies of the United States. I hope they stop attempts to assign blame and take steps to heal privately with their children.

    There's just something very odd about this case. It would make little sense for North Korea to torture a citizen of their most powerful enemy. This wasn't the case with the other American prisoners who were sent back, all of whom weren't treated horribly and none even did a full prison sentence. The parents not requesting an autopsy is also strange. My theory is that Otto attempted suicide while in prison which deprived his brain of oxygen. His resulting condition must have scared the North Koreans so much they were too hesitant to disclose it. Either that or the Warmbiers are working with the CIA. In any case, the whole thing is confusing and these parents are flat out weird.

  • @TheRevolucas

    From what I heard that wasn't even his first time in North Korea. They failed to mention that he was Jewish when North Korea blamed the United Methodist Church. His parents claimed he was mutilated but doctors who went over his body said he was in very good condition for being bed ridden for a year. They refused an autopsy when it would have probably solved how he died. Now the parents are back in the news. Something is clearly very strange about this whole thing.

  • @katvtay

    @katvtay

    Alundaio It is strange to not want an autopsy, but it is probably a simple answer. There was likely evidence on the imaging that pointed to it being a suicide attempt, and they didn’t want an autopsy (that would be surely made public) to really establish that. They said he was mutilated because he looked so frightening to them, but of course, they were mistaken. It was easier to blame NK for every tragedy that transpired. As far aa the Methodist Church lie? Well, that confession was full of lies. American detainees in NK always have confessions they clearly did not write. Ridiculous claims, poor English. Otto’s had everything we’ve already seen before. There is just nothing credible about this being some operative coverup with Otto being an agent.

    Heart wrenching to hear and watch. As a parent I wouldn't know how I'd be able to function after seeing my son in those conditions and die because of it. Yes what he did was naive but what they did to him was just monstrous. RIP

    This is a cruel word we live in. We are not from this world our world is in heaven. Im glad Otto died six days later because what live is it to live if you have brain damage. Its sad what happened to him and his family but at the end it was for the best.

    I saw a Tucker Carlson interview with Otto’s parents while Otto was still being held prisoner in North Korea. The Obama administration asked the family if they viewed the State department’s blog regarding dangers of travel to North Korea….essentially asking why he went to North Korea. Tucker Carlson was incensed by this. I’m wondering why Otto went to North Korea in spite of the danger. From the accounts of North Koreans who have escaped, human life is not respected. People are sent away to labour camps for small things. People are tortured, they disappear. It has now been verified by the North Korean government that their government has abducted many Japanese and South Koreans and have held them in North Korea for decades in order to train their spies. Why would anyone go to North Korea. My deepest sympathies to the family. North Korea is a wicked place.

    Those unearthly noises and jerks are probably some type of induced status epilepticus. No doubt Otto didn't have epilepsy. My guess of their methods of torture involve VR torture. Wow... My prayers are for you and Otto; also for holy retributions to befall the Kim dynasty.

    In the USA...at Area 51....unmarked......if you cross the line that they tell you NOT TO....you can be detained indefinetly....or maybe disappear.... Should not mess about with their rules....no matter how twisted it may seem

    @Hector Aldozar excuse me, asshole, there are many places that go unvisited with good reason, one of which is his American citizenship! Why would you go on a floor you were told not to visit, especially when you're taking a risk making this visit to be gin with. There is not comparing North Korea to Area 51, because you have enough warnings to know what the rules are, and what you're getting into. He knew better! Period!
