The way you describe every feature in a calm, simple but detailed way is why you got a subscriber. It's a nice alternative to a lot of other channels that use a lot of music or other methods to hype a product. To me the difference in your videos is that you don't seem to try to sell anything but give your honest opinion. Thanks for that and please keep it up.

Good review. After watching I put in a rush order with Amazon for the Zugu. It's superior. Well made. Great magnets. Comes in colors. I like that. Hate being forced to buy into the utilitarian world of black. Only drawback is the microfiber screen protector becomes the bottom when you fold it back as an easel. Just make sure you set it down on clean surfaces. Not cooking oil on the kitchen counter. The otter looks good too, but the clear acrylic rear shield does look prone to scratches. This Zugu fits really well. Tight. Solid without feeling bulky. Also magnetized flaps make it superior. Flappy covers can be annoying. Seems worth the 70 bucks for protecting a 1300 dollar computer that's actually a piece of glass. lol

I think you should Express more on how strong the ZUGU magnets are. I've had them before and lasted 3 years until it started wearing off. Amazing product

I like the zugu case simply because it offers the same well built protection and maybe even more protection on the zugu case and it is obviously cheaper to buy. You can also purchase it and get it quicker. Another reason is that there is a separate apple pencil holder, and I was curious since the apple pencil is always connected to the Ipad, that the Ipad may be drained of battery life quicker on the symmetry case. Not to mention the Zugu case has stronger magnets as well.

Awesome review! Watching this video I really like the zugu case more! However I read some reviews on Amazon and a few people talk about how the front cover of the zugu case is weak and comes off easily, also they say that the zugu case is much heavier than the otter box and UAG I can’t wait to see your review of all 3 cases! If it’s possible, could you talk about how heavy each case is? How sturdy the stand positions are and how strong is the magnetic cover? This way I (and many others) can finally settle on which out of the 3 is best

I prefer the Zugu case because it gives you the option of a stand. If you want to watch a movie or You Tube videos, you don’t have to hold it the entire time. Also, with the stand, you have a great lap option to view or take notes.

Great review, buddy. I’m new into your videos and you got a suscriber. I think choosing between Otterbox and Zugu is really hard. Both are great cases. But for me, the $30 difference is enough to choose the Zugu case. I’m ordering it right now. Keep the good work man.

Great review (as always). I love my Otterbox but I do have complaints. First, the back of the case is super easy to scratch. Second, the volume buttons require a lot of force to operate. With that said, the case has a lot of positives as well. I was a user of the first UAG case and returned it. I might give the new version a try but I'm eyeing the Zugu too. Thanks for the reviews!

I have the Symmetry 360 case for the 12.9 iPad 2018 and I'm waiting for the Zugu case to arrive (since I want the kickstand with more angles). The Symmetry is a good case but one major negative that I don't see mentioned in any reviews for it are the extremely mushy volume/power buttons. They require a lot of force, most of which just goes into compressing the case button. Even my cheap phone cases have much better buttons.

Finally great comparison man. At first I wanted Otterbox but it is unavailable even from the store so I have to wait until nearly to the half of February to get it which bothers me, while the zugu case is available right now so I’ve ordered it. So What do you think ?

Love LOVE the Otterbox Symmetry, case is simple, and beautiful. I also love the clear back it has. Sure it can get some small scratches but nothing major as long as you’re careful with it.

I’ve been using a Zugu Muse for the past 2 years and just ordered the 2021 iPad Pro and an Otterbox 360. The Zugu has a bit of weight... heck of a great case though! I’m curious to see how the Otterbox feels. UPDATE: I just had a few days with the Otterbox and I’m returning it... I find the Zugu WAY better... I’m waiting for them to release the newest version and hope it’s around the same time my 2021 iPad arrives. The Otterbox just doesn’t have the same quality feel and the kickstand is flimsy compared to the Zugu. Little things: the Otterbox doesn’t have a little tab to open it and you have to pry a fingernail under the cover to get it open. The Zugu has a tiny tab. The new pencil holder on the new Otterbox isnt even close to feeling as nice as how the pencil snaps on the open edge of the Zugu where it exposes the actual iPad case. Etc...

You know you can put a nice skin from Dbrand ON plastic back of OtterBox for better grip and hide scratches

I think I may go with the Zugu I already have the first generation UAG but it has its drawbacks and the new one fixes them but I think the Zugu looks more elegant. If only they made it in Red.

@brent vios I actually ended up ordering the case. The front (screen covering) flap is not secured to the back of the case when you flip it open all the way like the symmetry does. It acts like it wants to but it doesn’t have the magnets don’t have the strength to hold since it wasn’t designed to do so. That being said, I love the case

I just bought the iPad Gen 6 for my high school teen. Thinking about this Zugu case for it....do you know if this Zugu case can accommodate a glass screen protector? Zugu case is the best case because i am using it in my ipad pro 12.9 2018. I like it so much its cool, premium quality and protects all around. Actually there are no such case which covers all around zugu only the one.

What tempered glass creek protector should I get for the iPad Pro 11”

I purchased the Zugu Muse case after reviewing this video. I wanted a more portable case to use when my Logitech keyboard case wasn't needed. I still cannot get the sleep/wake feature to engage on this device. So I think something else was causing it to look like it was actually working on the case. :( Not a deal breaker, but was disappointed it would not work in either horizontal or vertical mode.

Ottorbox will replace your case over the scratches. The plastic is supposed to be scretch resistant! They replaced mine and it was super easy, did my claim over the phone.

I like the otterbox better and that’s the one I bough because it’s clear in the back too see the stickers I put on my iPad.

I’m going to go for the Otterbox because I want to protect my Apple Pencil cause I’ve dropped it a couple times with my current case 😅

Why don't you do the same with Zugu Case as you do with Otterbox in 3:05 ?

I’d say the Zugu is better for preventing bending because the kickstand is harder and more reinforced. The plastic on the symmetry is a little flexible as well - something to keep in mind :)

I like the look of otter box cases, but the rubber they use stretches out. For the price I pick zugu.

Does anyone know about the experience of writing and typing on both with the lowest setting? I've heard that the ZUGU is still too high u and strains your hand, and wears over time with hand pressure. And for Otterbox, I heard its angle is perfect, but the writing isn't as stable and gives you a bounce, as the bind will potentially wear. I am a college student trying to use this for graphic design sketches and notes. Any ideas?

I use the lowest setting with my Zugu case and it’s just the perfect angle, I use it for drawing and I don’t feel strained at all. You can check my videos about it 👍

This mugu muse case and the alpha case why it say different name ?

I got a Symmetry case through school district I work for. It was FREE [usually cost $90] and I like it.!! It gets the job done. If I'm going to use my iPad Pro to teach, I told them it needed to be protected. VERY happy with this case The Zugu case looks great too, but the Otterbox option was available at the time.

Hey I think that’s a cop out. You said you were going to pick the one you prefer. I definitely think Zugu is better. Otterbox is ok but don’t know why you like it so much. It looks cheap and flimsy to me. Zugu has several better features. And did you say Zugu is cheaper? Wow 😮

I’m surprised. If one is cheaper I thought it would be the otter box. The Zugu looks like better quality and better design and features that you pointed out. You didn’t even show the benefits of all the stand positions. You can even stick it on your fridge. I’m sold on the Zugu. I think Otterbox wouldn’t even be my second choice

The leather one is made by Pad and Quill. It’s very nice. It’s expensive and doesn’t have features that Zugu has such as extra place for the Pencil and multiple stand up positions

Which case has less weight? This is very important.

I prefer my Apple Pencil fully protected and not dangling freely with a quarter of it hanging out an oversized elastic band at the back. I can already envision all the scratches and gunk gathering on the exposed part. Not to mention storing it there would make it very likely to break if forgotten and the iPad is slapped down on a desk or worse. I also prefer the clear back of the Ottorbox. Both have camera protection and both have a good rim around the screen’s parameter. The only things I would take from the Zugu case are the more viewing angles and the more tactile buttons. Otherwise it’s just too meh for me personally - I detest the book style front cover, prefer seeing my device and again I don’t feel confident that my Apple Pencil is as protected as it is, without even a second thought, with the Ottorbox.
