    On the "bomb" case, we can look at where the parts were purchased and (as most places do) what video evidence or sales associate witnesses are there of the suspect in the area obtaining the items, surely in today's society, there were plenty of evidence, but let's just go with what we have here. How about fingerprints? Are there pics of both bombs before they were detonated? If so compare those in front of the hostile witness/suspect.

    rules of evidence 404a &b? Questionable character of defendant can tip scale (probative value) for the prosecutor especially with believable witnesses but again a good defense can taint that theory as well.. so it can go either way… it’s just lawyering games…

    Character witnesses do nothing more than prejudice the jury. Its value is just for that, but if the overall evidence links him, but usually a good prosecution that has evidence don't need to character kill to win, if I was a juror and a case I was sequestered for had character assassination going on I'd find not guilty. It's just bad evidence.
