The map screen shot is a big help. I cut & pasted both the world and the trade goods into my excel notes for the game.

You're welcome. Can't guarantee its still 100% accurate. Might have been a few little add-ons since the latest update, but not sure, could still be completely accurate.
Further tip. Place the Trading Post close to the river where you will eventually place the Trading Dock. Then build extra warehouses between them. (Oh you sort of said that) Also add a cart parking nearby, to shift things fast. You hit the nail on the head, and explained part of the reason I love Ostriv. The way to make money is to produce a surplus and sell it. Effectively getting other villages to pay for your work. Not by "trading" and trying to exploit the markets. Love it.

Can you have more than one post and one dock? Is there any point? If yes, how the mechanics work? I know in Banished it works but can't find any information on it in Ostriv.

Good Question! I believe you can have more trade buildings. Weather they actually serve a different purpose or not I don't really know. That is something to test in the coming weeks! Good suggestion!

One benefit would be twice as much storage for goods, but I'm not sure how the AI handles multiple trading posts, ie if I have 5000 charcoal in one and another 5000 in another, I sell 10000 units, would the trade partner try to collect all 10K from one or try to collect 5k from each? Not sure yet, but more potential goods to trade would definitely be a benefit if it works properly
