This is the first I’ve seen of this game but I already love it. I love all the little details, like the people bringing over one piece of wood and then someone else assembling it into pieces. So cool!

Just started playing this a few days ago. Love it! This and Astroneer are my favorites! Thanks for the vids Raptor. Using them as a guide.

I'm here because the Manor Lords early access waiting is driving me crazy. Never heard of this until you mentioned it. Pretty excited.

Thanks for making videos! My only critical statement is that the content don't seem to progress as far as the video thumbnails have led me to believe. Example: Compare the thumbnail of this video with the last seconds of footage (I'm looking at 36:17). This pattern repeats in Ep 2. From video thumbnails, I'm hoping to get a glimpse of an awesome future-state of the game and then when I watch the video I hope to go on the journey of how the player achieved this state. Cheers.

My very favorite thing about this game is the automatic path generation based on where the population goes and how often!!! I've been wanting to start seeing that in these types of games!! Impressive, most impressive. It really makes the map feel like it's naturally and uniquely changing as your town grows.

I like that they (or he) went for "classic" game UI with nice icons as well as neat graphics and not that simplified stuff we get all the time for the last couple years. Would like to see paths or simple streets added soon so you can actually make nice efficient paths and make the village look more realistic.

Density of cities in the medieval era was such a big thing that houses had to be build with the upper floors larger than the lower floors so that it would allow building to be build as closely as possible and would allow room for a narrow alley below

Sorry but you're wrong. During medieval era artisans(coblers,blacksmiths ect.) got assigned land plots in the city, these plots ware as small as possible to keep the city as small as possible because defensive walls we're like out of this world expensive. So, people would build the 1st floor exactly to the plot lines (witch commonly accommodated the workshop), and the second floor wider, because there we're no rules regarding wider upper floors, the same could was done for 3rd and 4th floors. In some cities the houses got so wide by the 4-5 floors they actually touched, and the street was under them. But in time various housing regulations have been put in place and we do not see this today

Fun fact: They used a more primitive technique but they were able to conduct a land survey and build straight, by use of lengths of rope, to mark straight lines, set heights and measure distance :)

For some reason, building games keep me coming back time after time with each failure and economical crash I find myself redoing it over and over. Played Banished for some time and managed to get gigantic cities built a few times. Literally I can't get further than three or four years in Ostriv - usually run out of labour as all m y facilities require men and or women to function so everything ends up slowing down. Amazing game though and it really kills the hours if you're not careful haha
