Wont lie, i like the long videos, its so interesting to watch things being built then the paths being formed from people walking on them, awesome as always mate

Thanks! I like these long videos too. I'll keep 'em up as long as I can.

The Smithy makes the metal parts needed to repair or build the carts. the Carpentry uses those parts and wood to repair/build carts. The smithy also need charcoal to operate so you should put in a couple of charcoal production buildings.

Charcoal is an early money maker, place a charcoal pile close to the trading post.

Happy Friday :) I was not expecting you to start this game so soon. Are you able to do advanced gardening technics like composting or adding N-P-K to the soil? Looks like a cool game but I dislike how slow it is at getting going and how you have a pretty set of doing things. Hopefully I will enjoy the series maybe if you add my name in the mix I will have to tune in to see how I'm doing. Well not me but the npc of me. If you are still offering to add names. No pressure I will probably tune in any ways because it's you.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can change the names. But no worries if you don't enjoy the videos, Timberborn will still be daily. This will be less then daily. You can buy (or breed) oxen and make (or buy) ploughs to make the soil better. Crop rotation is the real way to ensure the nutrients stay up. It is a slow beginning, but as the town grows there is a huge variety of ways to go. For example, this map has infinite iron, so hopefully the towns around will buy iron products when we get them set up, and I will have to buy stone and clothes and boots. Or I can choose to make clothes.

Looks like a very cool game. I like more futuristic games. :) But love the games about the past too. I wish I could tell the NPC some simple things to improve their lives. To help them out a bit.

I believe when you build houses you can make much larger gardens in order for citizens to grow more food you can buy from them and then sell to other communities(settlements).

That is true. I keep forgetting that they recently made it easier to edit the size of gardens by dragging the corners. I need to do that. I'll try to remember.

If you make the first two houses with large gardens, they can provide enough food for the entire starting population. There is no extra cost in material or construction time simply because you make the garden plots bigger. Just remember that you have to build granary (small or normal) in order to buy the food from the locals and supply it to the market stalls.

remember have to feed chickens. wheat or buckwheat is the normal food. You also need a farm manager so you can actually set up your rotation on a multiyear basis.

Why do you never hire managers? You get extra options in the building.
