Orleans opened to Eddie Money at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY during the summer of 2007. With John Hall having left for the US Congress (2 terms, D-19NY), Fly Amero came back for a second "term", having replaced John in the early 80s.
This video was captured by the local crew and, while the band 's performances and the visuals are fine, the audio mix unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. It's as if Fly had tipped the engineer $100 to make sure his guitar was way out front. On the other hand, apparently Lane failed to do that and it took awhile for the mixer to find his keyboards. It does get better as it goes along, though.
The night was capped off by the inclusion of long-time musical friends, local Syracuse natives Bob Halligan, Mark Hoffman and Doug Moncrief on the band's signature song, Still the One.

I saw them 3 times. they were at state fair before this on Chevy Court love the show! I still have my vinyl's from the 70's

Oh, come on, why would a deaf person be at a music concert? How pointless. It's like a blind person going to an art gallery.

Larry was so absent in the mix,Fly buried him ridiculous. Ive been to many concerts at the NYS fair the audience seemed lackluster.

I love any and all the Orleans I can get, but the magic between Larry and John’s guitars is just not there. Fly tries but he just don’t got IT.
