have to say this is the best ive seen Chef. very very good form. I've been critical of past couple of bat reps using the same factions and same presenter vs presenter on the trot but Chef has absolutely nailed it this week; passion, wit, knowledge and funny.

Liking the Red Dwarf quote / reference and an Ork melee army. I know it’s all about flying dakka in the meta, but masses of boyz legging it forward is just the way it should be.

This is the first time I've heard malal in years I never thought he'd make his way back. What a blast from the past.

I love his Black Templar army! So well done, in terms of painted, kit-bashes, etc .... just love it.

Agree with everyone else, this batrep is utterly amazing

I've really injoyed this batrep with Dave and all of you guys. I must admit, I really enjoyed humor and positive energy between you three🤗. Also, very nice of you Chef helping your opponent from time to time. And one more thing, Chef...if they hate you back there in TTT studio (although they probably don't😅) , don't worry...we still love you 🥰

I think the orks pulled a bit further ahead as it seemed you forgot the scenario... objectives remain held until your opponent secures it. Love these lists though, made for a great match! 👍

Best BR I've ever seen. Not saying that because I'm an Orks player but being an Orks player definitely is a factor! Can't wait to see more!

Really fun game boys, one of my favourites you’ve done. Dave was a great guest too. I always think it adds a lot to the reps when you have a third guy on camera/host (when you can I mean I know you guys are always crazy busy). Spoiler: I love watching primaris get krumped. High Marshal Helwrecked am I right ✋🏻 he got smoked!

One of my all time favorite BRs. I watched this tonight with a few friends who were new but not completely familiar with the 40k universe. Absolutely shocked on how engaged they were. Great experience. Cheers mate.

Maybe you should invest in those neoprene objectives that are the marker and the extra area around. I have some and it is amazing knowing exactly where the edge of the objective is.

I’d like to ask where did Dave get those glorious bits on top of the armour of his sergeants and the bladeguard veterans? I’ve been opting to get a hold of those myself but cannot seem to find any online.

It's based off the Pri-Marneus Calgar model with bits from my old Helbrecht model as well as green stuff

Dave was brilliant as a guest. Hell of a game, please bring him back! Also, if Dave would grace me with a response, how do you feel about a centurion assault squad in a land raider crusader in Black Templar? I bought the box as my first Space Marine army and am planning out how to expand my crusade force. Personally I think with Uphold the Emperor they have a good chance to get up the board and proceed to wreck face.

Centurion Assault squads can be brutal, but survivability is an issue. With the Vow giving them a 5++ would be really decent against very high AP, but my Centurions tend to die to mass firepower rather than high strength stuff in the past (much like the shooting from the Gladiator in this batrep). Having said that, the LRC delivery system got a LOT better with the Shock and Awe ability of charging out so it's certainly something to try out. It's certainly increased the stonks of Assault Terminators for the same reason!

I appreciate this is an older BR but I’m going back through the Templars ones. Where is the Templars t-shirt from (I notice he has decals of the breast emblem on his impulsive too)? Love the BRs, had my first game of 40K at the Bath store last week, good things. 🤙🏼

Chef, you're not talking about starship troopers when he (the guy with the robotic arm) asked for the gun and shots he own trooper in the head to stop him from suffering while he is being eating alive are you?

General orky advice. Always replace the nobz slugged with extra choppaz. It’s way more reliant.
