The videos from yesterday and the ones ill upload today will get less views because the algorithm is confused as to why I am just randomly uploading two videos per day. I appreciate the kind words though!

Just getting to this excellent presentation. Found a box in June for $169 plus tax. Not quite as good as it would have been in Jan but amazing still around.

Yeah some Battleforces are still around, I see the Death Guard and the Ork one in a lot of stores, I am glad the video is helpful 6 months after I initially uploaded it!

I kinda want to combine this box with the CP for the savings alone but fielding 40 new boyz sounds like a nightmare

How's it going dude? Heads up I was talking to my local game store in Australia and he said it looking like 310 AUD. Been thinking about starting some Orks in the new year after I found a start collecting box for a good price 2 months ago. I agree it's a bit of a random box but it has got some cool big sculps in it, so I'm not hating on it today. Peace

my space marine one was 350 according to local I may get discount but his keeping one and notifying me when it arrives but thats non discounted still a 35-40%ish total saving on that one

Definitely not hating, it's a cool starting force if you want a little of everything. I am just a fan of more structured battleforces with a clear theme. But with the box being all over the place, you can more or less buy anything you want to upgrade it which is cool!

If only I didn't have a metal big mek with shokk attack gun, ninety+ old boyz (with proper-ork-sized 'eads), and a new set of nobz (because someone has to lead those boyz into battle and I like a choice of loadouts) I would pick it up for the dakka jet, and the deffkilla wartrike. ;) I suppose it wouldn't mix badly with the Combat Patrol except that you will 4 sets of the same monopose boyz (which is sort of an anathema to me), but I rather like your idea of picking up some lootas and warbikers instead and leaning into the HQ choices.

Yeah 40 samey looking boyz sounds bad. On paper the Combat Patrol + Battleforce makes sense. On the table it would look weird.

On it! Today will be Sisters of Battle and Hedonites of Slaanesh. Not sure about the order of uploads yet though.

As of the time writing this, Ebay is flooded with these Ork battleforces at 15% off. However, besides one single box of battleforce Necrons there is zero other battleforce boxes that low, even including AOS. Seems like this box is the biggest loser by far. I wonder if the reason is the general scatterbrained nature of the box, but I'd go more out on a limb and say people just *really* don't like the new Ork boys. Which is fairly grim for the future of the boys if so.

Its a mix of all of the things you mentioned. The new boyz kit is bad, the battleforce is all over the place, and it looks like not a lot of new players are looking to play orks at the moment because their value boxes are all kind of weird.
