It's a great codex, thanks for the brilliant shortened summary instead of a 2 hour discussion. I want to go down the Mek route but I already have 60 Boyz so that might be my second choice. It's a great codex, that put some others to shame

Actually, the Blood Axes gained a bit in that Snikrot can now go solo like Sly Marbo _(the pretender!)._ Also, there's a lot of kunnin' movement taktiks and shenanigans in the Green Tide and Kult of Speed for both massed foot-sloggers or mechanized infantry.

Cult of Speed gives an interesting option when using a Gargantuan Squigoth and the combination of "Fasta than yooz". Load it with whatever you desire, but consider Jump Pack or Mega Knobs being safely delivered and still able to charge, while backed up by the Gargantuan Squig, isn't terrible imo.

This looks fantastic, so many different playstyles are possible now. I love the mech based detachment. I think I will collect a beast snagga army and a mech army, they look the most fun to me.

It's worth mentioning that the Tellyporta enhancement for a Mega Armored Warboss in Bully Boyz also applies deep strike to the unit lead by the Warboss; so that would be Meganobz and Warboss deep striking into battle like Space Marine Terminators.

I love Orks regardless but damn is it good to have fun rules to play. That assault ramp strat is awesome. Looking forward to buying that new Big Mek model by himself from the battleforce boxes.

A lot folk saying that kult of speed is going to be really strong, however it's not a very killy list more based around being fast and blocking off your opponent from getting to objectives.

Yer, it will be a fun detachment to play and ultimately we won't know until we get it on the table, could be great 😊

I was already looking forward to the mech one but man speed freak is really temping. The disembark and charge enhancement is what I've been wishing for most of this edition though I was hoping it was a stratagem. Instead of moving up and praying the transport and/or unit survives to my next turn, the unit will finally be able to properly charge.

Great video it’s improved by 2 the ap on the button. Definitely looking forward to codex flash gitz lless effective and lootas get improved just waiting on burna boys to see if they get to have Meks able to join them. Because that could be insane ap-2 burnas lol overwatch would be so funny then

Some things like the double waaaagh is it turn 1 and 2 consecutively or can you get it turn 1 then turn 3 because that makes massive differences in how and when you call them. I am planning a double stompa list for nick lol

I actually think the cult of speed is better than the Beast snagga detachment. It probably won’t kill anything tough but you can spam out tough models which are fast move block and play the mission.

dropped out of the hobby when 10th came out and lost a friend who we used to play with. looking to get back in again and excited to bring back all the deff dreads. can you mix and match detatchments?

You pick a detachment and gain those rules for the whole army. You can use any Ork models you like though and it's just that some detachments specify buffs for certain models/units only 👍

Excellent codex for Ork players! But for the rest of the Meta it’s big and bad news where MegaNobz are tougher and hit harder than Deathwing Knights and greenies strats just took all the best things of Necrons reanimation, Deathwing 2-3 rank fighting, world eaters blood surge and reroll 1 and charges. On top of that 5++ for all Boyz and you will most likely face 80-100 of them now. S-Tier ‘Ere We Go! 😂

Yeah there may be some salt come summer balance pass. Reminds me a lot of the 9th ed Tyranid dex.

I think calling cult of speed the weakest is kind of insane but make sense if you completely ignore the scoring potential

Don't agree that Speed detachment is weakest. I think its a consideration for strongest if some nutter tinkers it out.

Ah yes, for all the tournament wins we've had with an unreleased codex 😅 can you link any major tournament wins in 10th with a speed freaks style army? I don't recall seeing any, they were basically all the same, boys or snaggas in trukks, meganobs too, or the flash gitz route.
