Original Deer Blind Window Review

Спорт

Reviewing my new windows for my deer blind. I have 24x10 and 48x10 tinted and non tinted deer blind windows in my stand. Spent around $350 total shipped to my door. So far so good.

@@StarkeyOutdoors , I just ordered some yesterday. Should I make the opening 1" or 1.5" smaller than the window size? I just want it to seal up

@@bagger2013jm I would wait until you get them to cut it out. I got close to being too big and I had them in hand. I think they have instructions but i would measure.

Thank you for the video! Question for you though. Looking to buy 4 windows from DeerView. Do you think the tinted is worth it vs clear? How is it compared to clear at low light conditions? Thanks

I used both. My side windows are tinted. They mostly remain closed and help conceal any silhouetting and movement. My main windows that I expect the deer to be in front of are clear. However most of the time I have them open. I think the height of your blind and the angle the deer look up at plays into it also. The tinted are pretty nice and I would go with them if your ground level. Like I say, I hunt with my shooting windows open. Good luck..

@@StarkeyOutdoors Thanks for the reply. The way our blind is situated the deer will end up being about eye level with us (blind is elevated but lower than where the deer come in the field). We really don’t want to paint the inside black, we have some nice rough cut pine we were going to use for the interior. Is it hard to see more out of the tinted vs the clear at last light? I know you usually keep the clear open but thought I’d ask. If it’s hard to see out of at last light then I’ll just go with the clear on the main windows. Thanks again!

I'd go with the tinted. You can hardly tell a difference between them from looking out but trying to look in its substantial. You'll be fine with them.

The original is way better than deerview! They were the first company around and now everyone has copied them! They ship way faster also.

@@caitlynneuman4032 I bought the original last year, big fan. I got them and DeerView mixed up, didn’t realize they were different companies at first.
