I agree. I know that you can be very accurate with a shotgun, and it's not a weapon that needs as close a distance as TV, movies, and video games would have you believe, but it was still designed for closer quarters combat when introduced to war in WW1. Yes, there's slugs and the amount of distance one can shoot it at and still be accurate and lethal has greatly increased, but it's still not meant for long range fights. And to anyone who says things, like how they were able to kill some animal from a far distance with a shotgun, keep in mind that shotguns made for hunting are very different than shotguns made for combat in terms of maneuverability, size, and tactical efficiency in these situations. You can hunt with a combat shotgun, but you'll have a harder time using a hunting shotgun for tactical use and in a firefight. It makes sense, both for those familiar with/have handled firearms and those who have knowledge from the media, that shotguns aren't what you associate a marksman with. Your immediate thoughts are to rifles, and maybe some pistols. If shotguns were for marksmen, then I wonder why vigilantes like the Punisher and Deadpool don't use them at long range, but instead for more confident and tight spaces where the spread of the buckshot has a better chance of hitting multiple targets when fired down a small hallway at a group of thugs. Plus, I don't think anyone's taking into account that he would specifically need slugs for marksmanship and not any ammo that has spread. Pistol and rifle ammunition doesn't natural spread, so it'd be much easier for him to find and stock up on that than him having to likely spend more time on slugs specifically for his shotgun, just to prove his marksmanship. In short, markmen typically don't have their main weapon be a shotgun for tactical reasons. Nor would they use it over pistols just to prove their skill.

I find interesting the character Sin Eater, his mental issues, and how things are happening through his eyes. I'd say its pretty good. Hunted storyline dragged don a bit though. It took a dark turn since issue 44. It used to be fun up till then because of its lighthearted and return to classic Spidey tone, but since issue 44, with the current storyline, its pretty dark. Ngl though I love the issues currently coming out, and have for some time. Now would be a good time to read 44 onwards, because Issue 55, the conclusion to Last Remains comes out in a few days. Because of COVID though its been very dragged out. Most of the .LR issues are unnecessary except for 54.LR. All the meat of the story has come out in December with Issue 54, one of the most brutal issues ever, and 54.LR.

You skipped A LOT from 5:12 - 5:14. At the end of the first sin-eater story, Spider-man was so angry he beat up the villain badly. Very out of character. The sin-eater was brought to trail and was found insane. Put in an asylum. Years later the authorities deemed him "cured" and released him. Angering everyone. Family members of victims and Spider-man. Spider-man decides to go full Batman, complete with scary gravel voice and taunt the Sin Eater in his apartment. But when spiderman arrives at his apartment and tries to scare him, he finds an ordinary man. A broken man physically and mentally. Spiderman had beaten him up so badly years that he had several permanent injuries. A Broken jaw, so now he stutters and a cane to help him walk. Spiderman feels so bad on what he did to him he leaves traumatized. But the sin eater isn't cured. Every night alone in his apartment the personna taunts the ordinary man. Until he can't take it anymore. He dons his costume and gun and confronts the cops. But it was suicide by cop. Two different story arcs. Years apart.

Movie Idea: Adapt Death of Jean deWolf and Conway´s Tombstone Randy Robertson Arc (Spectacular Spider-Man 107-110, 138-141, 150-157). Leave Lobo Brothers, Hammerhead, and Kristy pieces out of it to trim the story down. Primary focus should be justice, vigilantism, and the legal system. There´s plenty of ways to tie the arcs together. For instance, Tombstone could be the guy who killed Stanley´s partner, and when Spider-Man brings Tombstone in for other crimes (the primary one being the murder Robbie witnessed 20 years ago), Stanley could shoot Jean deWolf because she withheld from providing ´evidence´ (more conjecture, though ironically we as the audience know it´s true) that could get Tombstone the death penalty. This gives us a more in-depth example of why he thinks deWolf symbolizes the problems in the legal system. Also, Matt Murdock could be the lawyer that ensures Tombstone doesn´t get death penalty (plea deal), with the aid of deWolf not getting involved with overly circumstantial evidence. Great way to introduce the complexity of Daredevil before the Death of Jean Dewolf storyline really gets started. Throw Kingpin and Chameleon in the background for good measure. This is more to set up the atmosphere of a gangwar than to really confront Spider-Man. Tombstone is initially hired by Kingpin (which prompts Robbie to attempt a citizen´s arrest), then picked up by Chameleon after having to give dirt on Fisk´s criminal empire in his plea deal. Chameleon is responsible for making sure Robbie gets sentenced as severely as he is and put in the same prison as Tombstone, setting up their prison break using Spider-Man. This puts Tombstone on the loose during a gangwar to set up a double climax. Peter Parker should be in his mid-twenties (Holland version wouldn´t work) and married to Mary Jane. Make him the most comic book accurate version in film so far (which really isn´t that hard). Randy Robertson should finally get the attention in film that he deserves, in fact he´s one of our two secondary protagonists (with Daredevil). Story should be set back in the eighties, rather than modern day. Sin-Eater returns stroyline in sequel with Venom as main villain.

@@INFERNO95 Who? Green Goblin's been used way too often, Doc Ock has already been used, Venom's attempts on big screen have been meh, Hobgoblin doesn't make sense without Green Goblin, and that would require doing Green Goblin again, Lizard, Mysterio, Sandman, Kingpin, Electro, Rhino, Shocker, Vulture, and most of the main rogues gallery have already been used. Rose doesn't make sense without Hobgoblin. Sin Eater is one of the few that haven't been used. The only other major non used ones are Scorpion and Kraven.
