I’m here because I’ve been in Detroit for 3 years, and I was feeling homesick and nostalgic. Before Detroit, I lived in Anacortes, at the other end of the ferry trip. In fact, I lived just a few blocks from the ferry! I have a whole set of fish shaped dishes from the pottery place. It really is a wonderful place to live.

Wow wow wow. 😮 Probably going to watch this SEVERAL times...

Undoubtedly, it is a happy place where everything is epic and simply outstanding!🙂👍

It’s very expensive though….Oprah Winfrey 6 million dollar home on the island would be $400k anywhere else.

The most magical place on earth! I think you just captured the cottage we stayed in on our trip. 💙🍃🌲

I've been living in Friday Harbor, Washington for more than 22 years....and I have never set foot on Orcas. Maybe some day I will...some day!!

What time of year is the best time to go

Wow, didn’t realize Orcas Island, WA was a real place, I thought they just made it up as a setting for the video game “What remains of Edith Finch”. They nailed the plant life, local art, and landscape perfectly.

10/10 Broken Glasses! This is why BC and Washington are BFFs. We get to share spectacularly stunning places like this. And while Trump may know we burned down the Whitehouse, he prob doesn't know that we went to war in 1859 over the San Juan Islands too. It was called the "Pig War" because... it was caused by a pig wandering where it shouldn't have been wandering. Anywho, great job on the vid - amazing shot of Baker - didn't think the day was clear enough for that shot - gorgeous! The music was perfect - especially during the waterfalls part. The opening was a little corny, but I dig it. But the ending was epic. I wasn't there for that, so it was hilarious to see, and I swear the server was Canadian - so polite and apologetic, even though it was clearly no fault of hers. You nailed another one! Keep 'em coming!
