Orbit Mode On-the-Fly - Fly circles around a Point of Interest (POI) and make adjustments
Фильм және анимация
Learn how to use the Orbit Mode to fly circles (or arcs) around a point of interest, such as a tower, or vertical structure for reality modeling, photogrammetry or videography. View how to setup the orbit mode, enable making adjustments to the orbits altitude, radius, gimbal pitch, and yaw, while keeping the same POI.

Fantastic - Thanks
This is awesome
After spending some time with this, I can say its significantly better than Pilot 2, but would be nice to see quick buttons to make manual camera adjustments as well as use Auto Focus Continuous (I currently only have AF and MF).

@@Dronelink Two additional suggestions 1) Add the ability to see the full screen and remove the large area to the left of the image so we can have more screen real estate 2) Allow the box that pops up with camera adjustments (SS, Aperture, etc) to be moved or place it off to the side so it can stay open (this could be placed in screen real estate that is not on top of the image or moveable similar to the way the histogram can be moved (if DJI ever enables the histogram)
While the orbit mode is running is it possible to configure manually the camera settings like WB, aperture, ISO and shutter speed?
Does it work with mini 3?
Can I fly mu DJI mini 2 with just the Dronelink app or do I need both apps open on my iPad?

You only want to have the Dronelink app open, and you need to force close the DJI app
Hello, I'm from Spain and beginning on this awesome world of drones and I have a question. I can make video construction monitoring (building construction) using dronelink, and you have some tutorial about it???

Check out our JobSight on-the-fly mission, or our latest video we just posted today
Hello, I’m a current Litchi/P4P user Flying cell towers daily. Rather than reinventing the wheel can you just copy Litchi’s Orbit interface? Remember that we will require to make those adjustments fast. The tutorial is nice but seems complicated. Gimbal angle up/down deg numbers?

This Orbit mode just got a minor update, this is how it has worked since we released it originally. We may release an updated Orbit Mode that will be even better for inspection workflows in the future. Adjustments are instant with the RC sticks, and the gimbal angle is displayed as an indicator as described in the video.

@@Dronelink Thank you for your effort. I am excited to start using your system once M3E gets officially approved for my programs. I’ll be in touch
I am trying to complete an orbit as per this video, except with drone facing away from POI. How do I do this?
@Dronelink

You would need to use the RC sticks to adjust the drone yaw 180 degrees

I do this but the drone will immediately rotate/yaw.back to original position.
Is this via a mini 2?

This video was with an Air2S, but it would work the same with any of the supported drones.
