As I understand, the mission was using Virtual Sticks, meaning it needs to maintain a constant signal. Had the mission used Onboard Waypoints, the chances are it would have made it, so long as there was sufficient signal strength to transfer each batch of 99 points.

I found myself pushing buttons on my screen over and over! Lol! What program were you using? Couldn't you have used the fly app to do the same thing? Got to know. I noticed you had plenty of battery too at the end. Loved it and need a follow up. Thanks Bob. I need to get back to flying mine now. Doing my first 20 minute hyperlapse as we speak. Drone On!

Why would you start the mission so far away from the pier in the first place, you are almost 3.0 miles away? You are bound to pick up occasional interfearence at that distance. You used up a lot of valuable battery time as well, just getting there. Dronelink is a good program and has many features for precision mapping, but the interface and functionality has a pretty big learning curve.

So far, every video of this app that I’ve seen have failed! It does not instill confidence in me for this $25 app! It may still be in the Beta phase. Thanks for sharing.

It gave me an option to press the play button to continue. I just was more comfortable sending my drone back home.
