So is there a special reason why this town of 2000 people just can't be left alone? I love the idea of having a single large nation for security, foreign policy, and strategy, and then having small places like this for people who might feel oppressed. Small enclaves are not a big deal, and can even release tensions. If there is a war, everyone defends everyone. If children are in danger, the enclave should be either helped or destroyed, depending on who is harming the children. You can have shared basic laws everyone must adhere to, and then small towns of no more than like 100k people do whatever they wish, if they are self sufficient. If the government hates this so much, choose a place in the desert and create a small black only community.

I think its ironic people saying that land belongs to ANY race. Blacks in Africa are split among many tribes and had come and gone over thousands of years. Even Maori weren’t the first people in New Zealand or the Aboriginies the first in Australia. They either immigrated via canoe or ice age land mass. If the South African government SOLD them this land then why can’t they do what they wish with it? What a backward comment. The problem with Orania is that is displays the inherent superiority of the white culture and way of life to everyone. You have to be industrious and talented to implement a worthwhile working society. If blacks were capable of this in any of S. Africa's history, they would have already done it.

Many homeland people worldwide do this, the Indian, Aboriginal, Amish communities & homelands are an example. This Orania is no different. What do you mean? They dont allow British people, or French people, only Boers and Afrikaners! The media likes to twist tounges. If anything, they came here because they WERE being opressed, and sadly because of the media, these poor Boers are now at the spotlight of discrimination because "they are aparthied!" no, they are preserving their culture, and they are trying to leave everyone else alone while doing it. Muslims have barricade themselves into "no go zones" in the UK and other European nations. The difference is nobody wants to go there anyway. I see them playing together as chickens naturally would.
